Pomeroy Inn and Suites Vermilion

We stayed here on our way through the province of Alberta. It was in a great location just off the highway. The building was very well kept, the rooms were clean, spacious and welcoming. We used the hottub after a long day of travelling and it was very nice and clean. We had a truck and trailer with us, and had plenty enough space to be able to park them in a well lit area.

A restaurant would have been a bonus, but I don't have anything bad to say about our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

The room was very comfortable, the staff was kind and friendly. The other guests were relaxed. I love that there is a Jar of dog treats on the reception desk, I will definitely bring my boy if I ever have another reason to be in Vermillion. Breakfast was good. I liked that I had such a long time to cancel if I needed too. Wish I would have made time to hit the pool but the hours available were awesome, open till 11pm, next time I will make time! I felt safe at this hotel traveling as a lone young woman.

The channels on my TV were on the fritz, the guide channels were scrolling super fast and gave me a brain pain when I flipped onto them. And the fact there were no robes, I'm a sucker for a robe.

Our suite was very lovely; well appointed and roomy. The electric tea kettle was a nice surprise. The bedroom was spacious was comfy and it was wonderful to be able to open the window. The laundry facility was a bonus!

The bathroom pocket door was hard to close and was necessary because the door for the toilet room had been removed. The floors in the bathroom and kitchen could have been cleaner.

Clean and comfortable. We liked that it was located very close to a 7-11, gas station and McDonalds. The lobby, sitting area and breakfast area were very comfortable and quiet while we were there. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in a hotel with several hot options on top of the standards. There was a staff member who was present during the breakfast busying himself with keeping things stocked, clean and in order. It was nice to see they were on top of things.

Hotel was clean and modern. Staff were friendly. Rooms where nice and spacious. Pool was open earlier and later than usual.

Breakfast was a little disorganized. When I went to eat there was no wear to sit, dirty tables weren’t cleaned, couldn’t get utensils and certain things were empty. Like syrup, butter etc.

The rest of the staff was excellent; friendly smiling polite. Also the breakfast was delicious. It was very clean. Very busy hotel but very quiet and relaxing

When we checked in at the front desk; the clerk forgot to get us to sign a paper to do with having our dogs at the hotel. It created issues when we were checking out. A different member of staff checked us out and became irritated and rude when he learned we didn't sign that particular paper. Acting like it was our fault would not smile or ask us how are stay with them was, or hope we would come back. It was stressful and honestly ruined what would have been a perfect experience

The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. There was a Covid outbreak at the college campus and it was not safe for my son to return to his dorm. He needed a safe comfortable place to stay on very short notice to finish out his course. Status of the outbreak and class delivery changed often and we were easily able to book and cancel stays as needed on short notice without cancelation fees. Over the course of the two weeks my son stayed here, I had the opportunity to speak with several different front desk staff. All of whom were pleasant and very helpful. So grateful for this! Also rooms are nice and clean with some great amenities of home and beds are very comfy. Breakfast to go in the mornings were a definite bonus. Thank you Pomeroy!!!

I have stayed at this location many times, the rooms as clean, the staff is friendly, the hotel is quiet. It's location is good. A little more pricey than the others but you get what you pay for.

Wished breakfast went a little later than 10 am on the weekends.

Very good breakfast, lots of variety and it was all fresh at 7:30 am. The kids liked the waffles while Grama and Grandpa did the sausage and eggs

Everything was good, no real dislikes other than they provide the small ketchup packages which seem like such a waste.

The rooms were clean, the common areas were also clean, and hot tub/pool area was kept tidy.

Stayed for a week and breakfast was the same options everyday. With dietary issues, it can be upsetting.
