Lamplighter Inn

No breakfast. Location was what we needed close to the hospital. The staff was very accommodating for the cool weather.

I would have liked extra blankets available in the room. Maybe because it was cooler days having the heat available before asking after the first night of being cold. I know we have had very hot weather up till then so understandable why the heat wasn't on. Neighbors were noisy out side the room for a short time in the morning.

There was no mention of breakfast. I assumed it was because of Covid. It would of been nice to have breakfast before we left but we went to a restaurant and had something to eat.

We were in room 110 and it was next to (I think) the pumps etc. because we heard pumps/water running until after two in the morning. Very, very noisy. Although I liked the Lamplighter Inn, I would never sleep in room 110 ever again. Also the bed was not nice for two people. We kept ending up rolling in to the middle of the bed. I would ask for two beds next time. But it is a great place to stay so don't let my review stop you.

For us the location was perfect. The Inn is across from the camp ground where my family was camping. The bed was very comfortable. I like that they had a microwave, coffee and fridge. The bonus was a liquor store attached to the Inn. I would stay here again.

It would have been nice if there was breakfast service. If there was one we, weren't told about it. Although I didn't ask.

Very clean room, the bed was the most comfortable bed at a hotel I've even slept on. Close to the local food store and gas station. Also, the three times I've stayed here in the last year, got the same room each time.

The bathtub is slippery when wet, so showering is not recommended. Plus, the hot water wasn't very hot even turned all the way up, and the pressure is a bit lacking.

Friendly staff, very accommodating! Breakfast consisted of croissants, colossal (dbl chocolate) muffins, yogurt, apples, bananas and coffee. We were situated in a SMOKING ROOM!! Which was awesome because we are smokers lol Didn't even know those were a thing anymore!!! Will definitely be going again 😊

A working landline would have been useful, but I guess in the age of cell phones, they are not as relevant!

Great value for a comfortable night's sleep. Room was clean and odour free, and appeared to have been recently renovated, including new fixtures in the bathroom. Fridge and microwave were very convenient and the coffee maker and ground coffee packets were a very nice touch.

I don't have any criticisms.

The owners take really good care of the property. The beds are made with a lot of love and care and it shows. Blankets are super soft and bed is super comfy. Great attention to detail. Incredibly clean. Air conditioner works super good

The wifi was spotty and didn’t really work :/

It was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. I made use of the fridge and microwave too so they were very helpful.

The towels were a little small but I gratefully used more than one.

The room was very roomy and comfy the location was excellent would highly recommend the stay and the staff was friendly

Very clean and well kept rooms. Great location just off main highway. Very quiet, and the rooms are comfortable. Air conditioning kept the temperature just right.
