Best Western Shalimar Praia Hotel

Clean, spacious, very well maintained, great location, terrific staff, beautiful landscaping, huge swimming pool, very good breakfast. The touristic service offered by Mr. Leite was something else!

Although I don’t need it, I think the hotel must implement accessibility features (ramps and/or elevators).

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous pool with a waterfall feature, great little play structure beside it, and a terrace above set right next to a beautiful tropical forest. It was never crowded, and the other guests were very respectful and not noisy. Our room was simple but clean. The food by the pool was good, and the breakfast quite good. The staff was very friendly.

We stayed for quite a reasonable price, and then returned a few months later for triple the price. It was during a holiday week, so beware that the prices are quite different depending on when you are there. The location is a bit of a drive from the better beaches, but very convenient to the airport and downtown.

Quiet room, and was sparking clean. Good pillows, towels and sheets. Staff was really nice. Excellent tapioca, during breakfast. Good variety. Bikes available is a plus.

No social distance possible during breakfast. (Unbelievable for such a huge hotel chain, especially in these Corona times.) When calling to book a night for that day, it was not possible to book by phone to check-in in the same day. The smell of the room, although bearable, was a bit odd (old furniture). No natural juices for breakfast. No reading light.

Some of the staff are really nice specially Sr Sodré and the others from the pool bar. The ones who help with the bags are friendly too. The food is very good.

The check in was a bit confusing. They placed us in a room where there was someone. I paid for the water but they didn't have it written there. The toilet/ bathroom was not smelling well. The room was too noisy.

Location was walking distance from historic center, downtown, discovery memorial and the beach. Breakfast is a feast.

The only English channel was CNN despite frequent US guests.

Nice pool and great location , super close to the airport: staff is extremely friendly and happy to help . Food was great we had fried fish bites and the moqueca mista , both delicious. Coldest coconut water I’ve ever tasted .. so yes , it’s good to stay here .

Small issue with shower door not closing properly, but minimal

Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices and good fruits and tapioca. The location is very nice.

The structure is amazing. Kind people, good breakfast, clean, comfortable, good beds, good shower.

The staff didn't know for sure the available tour and prices. There was no promotional material, so they need to make many calls in order to inform us.

The new years dinner. Sorry. But there wasn't enough food, cold and very uncontrollable environment. But you did refund the dinner cost. Thanks
