Radisson Blu Hotel, Hasselt

Friendly and great service ,starting from check in (wow,guy there (forgot the name)so professional and welcoming ,wonderful breakfast-everything there to start your day,clean room,A-La cart dinner at Green house bistro(girl there also very polite and friendly). Sky bar -fabulous view and cocktails. We also travel with 2 dogs and we’re surprised of no difference between rooms with animals or without-this hotel has a welcome touch for any guests.Absolutely recommend! Wonderful place! Thank you!

The location is excellent as just around the corner from shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was also lovely, great shower. Room well equipped with coffee/tea, iron, hairdryer, spacious wardrobe. We also used the pool and sauna which was lovely. There's a gym there too. We went hiking in the beautiful Hoge Kempen and shopping in Maasmechelen which is about 35/40' drive away.

Would have been lovely to see the Sky Lounge but it is being renovated in time for summer.

The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly, and location was excellent

I came there with my boyfriend, but we got a twin-bed room, instead of a double-bed room. Even though I understand that double-bed room cannot be guaranteed, but I think the hotel can also send a questionnaire in advance to ask for the room preference and arrange accordingly. It was very uncomfortable and not cozy for us at all, as a couple, to sleep on 2 separate beds with 2 separate blankets

cleanliness

The cleaner with a head covering ( Muslim) lady had to open the door and just enter, affecting our most important privacy. After doing that she came again after 10 min , she knocked and said you have to leave it’s 12pm now. the time was only 12:10pm and l was ready to leave the premises. l enjoyed everything, but the last minutes in the building spoiled my lovely trip.

Everything was good from rooms to the gym. Pity the pool and sauna were out of order. Nice skybar with magnificent views of the city. Nice local restaurants in the area within short walking distance.

Expensive breakfast €22 pp and parking per night at €17 just made it too expensive. The fridge in our room never worked over the 5 days we stayed there after 3 requests to fix it.

Like at most hotels in these challenging times, a lot of credit has to be given to the efforts made and the resourcefulness shown in dealing with the Covid measures. Especially good points for the cosy set dinner table in our room (even if we didn't request dinner) and the additional tableware in the room allowing for a comfortable confinement in your room without having to ask for a spoon or a wine glass every 5 minutes. Because of this, I booked an unforeseen additional night.

One of the assets of the hotel is the rooftop bar. The bar was not open because regulations only allow for sitting outside and the terrace was not heated. At difficult times like this, when you find almost all fun things closed at hotels (spa, fitness, inside bar, ...), more effort should have been made to be able to accommodate guests at the rooftop. We have seen a lot of outside places having made investments in heating and shelter...

despite the fact that I announced my late arrival window was left open and was very cold in the room. The card reader is not well visible when entering the room and is hard to find it in the dark with little light coming from the hallway. In addition it doesn t have a regular shape and you need a flashlight to figure out how to insert the card in it.

I especially enjoyed the services of Jordi, It’s my first time staying at a hotel as I’m only 18 so I can with certainty say that Jordi’s set an amazing example with his friendliness and helpfulness. Godspeed Jordi!

Barman on the night was excellent and very helpful after checking in late.

Bar closing time, I was part of a team of 5, we returned to the hotel to have a drink to finalise plans for the meeting we were having the following day and at that point the bar was closed

Location. Spacious room. Coffee/ tea making possibility. The Sky Bar with view and super weather was most enjoyable and relaxing. Friendly staff.

Showering meant stepping in and out of bath. Not easy if you are elderly and have mobility issues. Breakfast buffet too expensive. No a la carte possibility
