European Hotel

Very much enjoyed my stay. I arrived early in the morning so before check in time but I got to leave my luggage there, and was guided to the café next door for nice breakfast. So that is super convenient (plus, a discount applies for hotel guests). The room itself was excellent, super comfortable bed - best I've slept in months! (including at my own home) - and all the facilities were great. I especially appreciated the decaffeinated tea/coffee option in the room! Had a bit of issue with the TV but I got help from the staff. Staff itself is also wonderful, especially Ellen who gave me valuable tips regarding sightseeing and overall useful information. Perhaps it is a bit on the pricier side (and I am backpacking) but since it was such an excellent place to stay at, I'm willing to pay that price.

Everything about the hotel from spotless good size room with all the amenities to the exceptional helpful staff actually helping me work out the tv remote to recommending meds for my hayfever. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and all top tourist spots are accessible by walking, taking free Cat buses or trains. One of the best hotels I have stayed in within Australia and have stayed in a few. Value for money. Eateries are close like pizza hut, kebab centre, Indonesian restaurant and Amiras Cafe opposite for a dose of caffeine. . I highly recommend this place.

I would have preferred two waste bins instead of one.

Exceptional service! I originally booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 8. All staff were helpful, whether it was at the desk related to booking changes or offering useful tips about things to do in and around Perth. I liked the honesty if they were unsure of something I was interested in, instead asking for assistance from.another colleague. Your cleaners provide exceptional service daily and helped with any special requests, from a quick change of sheets because I'd dropped chocolate on them or to borrow a towel to go to the beach. It's a great location to get to everything. Thank you

Perfectly adequate for a 1 day lay over, central location which is what we wanted, easy walk to Queen Elizabeth quay, kings Park and the Royal mint... Breakfast in cafe next door with a 10% discount.

Having to wait possibly 14 days for the 200 dollar deposit to be returned....!! Pattern carpets but that's just a personal preference...

Our room (110) was very spacious, quiet and provided everything we needed. There was only one small high window so therefore there was no view. We had breakfast in the excellent cafe next door. It was in easy walking distance of Elizabeth Quay and the city centre.

The exterior of the hotel is looking tired and there are major alterations in progress but this did not affect our stay.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable plus being close to the lift which was a plus.The staff were friendly but not talkative and the cleaner met me as I was leaving and asked me if I enjoyed my stay and could she help me in any way. I appreciated her care as i am not young. At reception while waiting for my taxi to the airport I talked to several of the guests who were also checking out...they were interesting people exploring WA with backpacks and tents, doing walking tours etc. This hotel is like a big comfortable home.

My room overlooked Murray street with hundreds of young people out for a party until 2am. Whilst there were no brawls and all stayed in their small groups, there was the constant buzz and noise of their conversations until 2am...then the street cleaner truck came along, down one side of the road and then the other. I guess it all added to the experiences, seeing night life for the young people in Perth. I turned on the light about 1.45am and looked out the window and had dozens all waving to me so I waved back and wishes them all well and took myself back to bed.

Room was exactly as I needed and wanted, Balcony was perfect, it was very comfortable. The staff were beyond friendly, the lovely lady at the reception was both very professional and accommodating so much so that it became a delight to run into her a real point in my day. Venue was so warm and welcoming I will definitely stay there again.

There was nothing I didnt like, It was all great the only issue I had was figuring out the strange lock on the balcony door, but thats because I was too stupid to defeat the childproof lock, so my bad.

Very central. It was perfect for our purpose as we only got ready there and slept there. It is a very old establishment that has been refurbished so keep that in mind. Just the basics. It is absolutely perfect for medium budget clean and convenient locations for a short stay

It is absolutely fine for a short stay, but don’t stay there if you are going to be critical as it is what it is

The room was small but had everything that I needed to be comfortable. Due to the age of the building, I had to walk down 6 corridors and go up a small flight of stairs with my luggage. I would have appreciated some help because my suitcase was heavy. The location is a bit run-down, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Small convenience stores are nearby and there is a car park over the road which could add quite a bit to the overall cost of your stay.

Breakfast is available at the pastry shop next door, but service was particularly slow.

Good functional hotel in a fantastic location. The location is its biggest plus point. Close to the main attractions. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby, all within a few minutes walk.

Availability of breakfast would be great. The room I was in was somewhat small but clean and functional.
