Econo Lodge Karratha (formerly Karratha Motel)

We stayed for two nights in a twin room, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, loved the proper coffee pod machines in the room, the outside area was very nice and the bbq’s were spotlessly clean and everything was supplied that you needed to cook if you wanted to, it was a little noisy with people coming and going late and early in the morning but that was to be expected in the courtyard style setting, I would definitely recommend this accomodation to others.

The Manager Ash, went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The room was value for money and had all the things that we required. The central courtyard was lovely with lots of plants and a good place to have dinner and use one of the two BBQs. Also having access to the laundry at no extra cost was really useful.

I can't think anything that would be an improvement

The property was clean and comfortable. Good facilities and Nadine the manager very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. RSL next door but only open fridays so if you want a meal out you need to drive to town. If you walk there’s a small shopping area and tavern about 20 mins away.

Great location. Very friendly staff. We thought the room was very good value especially given it was the high season. Spacious room.

The fridge leaked a bit but it was a bonus to have a fridge. Not the accommodations fault but another guest decided it was ok to cook himself bacon and eggs on the BBQ outside our room at 3am. Perhaps a sign to say not to use the facilities before 7am might make it a bit more obvious this is not ok.

I like that you could walk out of your room to a nice area with bbqs at each end and the car park which wasn’t far to walk. If I had to pick something it would be the aircon was loud and the shower didn’t have a lot of pressure but still a nice place.

Good value, quiet, secluded, friendly and accommodating staff and management. Walking distance to shops and taverns if you don’t mind a stroll. Had everything we needed and we extended our stay to a week because of this. Free laundry facilities, BBQs too, aircon worked well and nice communal outdoor area. Nice dark room for sleeping or napping during the day. Parking area lit up with security cameras. We felt comfortable parking our motorcycles there.

Nothing really, we were very happy with our stay.

Nadine was a huge help when checking in and was very accomodating when I needed to leave a day early. Lovely friendly place to stay, will continue to stay there when travelling through for work

Just a very value for money type of thing. Everything was just right for the cost involved. The room was the right size & the facilities worked I was happy with the choice.

Nothing everything was serviceable

Close to shopping and sightseeing opportunities, short drive from Dampier, barbie setup was great and kept clean, and the staff were amazing

Extraction fan in the bathroom was a bit noisy but that’s just being nit picky

We were given a warm welcome on our arrival. The owner/manager was very helpful and thoughful but not intrusive. All our needs were more than met. It. is a quiet peaceful place to stay.
