Mercure Bunbury Sanctuary Golf Resort

The unit was on two floors and offered very adequate living space below and two bedrooms and a good bathroom above. The bed was comfortable and the daily cleaners were assiduous and changed the sheets regularly. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant offered food and drink of an adequate standard. A small kitchenette provided two induction rings, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. This was fine for breakfast. The resort was easy to find and access.

The internet service was initially inconsistent which we reported. It improved on day 4 and remained OK for the rest of our stay. There hairdryer did not work but was replaced immediately with a new one when reported. There was quite a bit of noise on one night from an industrial process somewhere in the vicinity but there is a lot of new road building going on within a few miles and that may have been the reason.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night. If there was room available we would have booked for a second night but clearly this is a very popular place to stay. We loved our apartment which was the perfect size for us as a family of two adults and two children. The view of the pool was lovely-unfortunately due to time constraints on our part we were not able to use the pool. I did see a family already in there at 07:30am. I have coeliac disease so for me eating out is always a concern. We had dinner which I informed kitchen staff of my dietary needs and was able to have both a safe dinner and breakfast. Golf course looks in beautiful condition, the boys all enjoyed the driving range.

The only thing I could possibly fault was the start time of breakfast, especially being a golf resort. My son had an early morning tee off time for a competition so my husband and son was unable to have breakfast as it does not start until 8am. An early morning breakfast option would be good even if it was just for a take out option.

The Room's were Excellent 👌😊🙏 , Our Family had a wonderful time if Only for an overnight stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly and professional. Your Lady at the Reception was great 🙂 when we arrived . Your services staff were very helpful and friendly and approachable, at Dinner and Breakfast , your Bar Staff were great and we stayed behind for your Market Day in the Enclosed Area . And we all purchased some items from the Market Stalls . It's also a very convenient spot too see everything in the City of Bunbury , and next time I Will have a go at your Golf course. It is also very convenient for persons travelling from Perth and Mandurah ,the Forrest Highway is close by. Thanks once again for an Excellent Over Night 🌃 Stay .

Great location. Golf course in really good condition. Staff in the Restaurant and Golf Shop were excellent. Food in the restaurant was really good.

The spa bath with shower in Room 10 was very slippery. When cleaning, the soap should be well rinsed off or non slip mats should be provided. Decor getting a bit tired.

The room was excellent, the dining room experience was very good. The waiter or maitre d' was extremely good. As was our waitress. Beautiful gardens. Immaculate. Nice reception. Shall definitely return. We have stayed before.

I thought the term STUDIO meant that there would be a small kitchen. Every other studio I have booked in Australia has had a small kitchen. Really it was a motel style room,* with a fridge and kettle and ensuite. It needs to be be advertised like that.* Positives:+++ However the hotel kindly lent us some cutlery and plates as we had brought our breakfast foods with us. The room itself was lovely and we were very comfortable.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful setting on the golf course. The venue is easily accessible from the main highway.

The shower has a curtain. I'm confused how any shower in a hotel still has a shower curtain these days. Even thou this was a fully paid online booking, I still had to provide a physical credit card. Tap and Go is not accepted. Really? Surely this can be achieved with touchless payment and without having to fill in a form leaving your credit card number unsecured with the hotel. Parking was a bit of a walk from the room. I'm not here to play golf. I rate parking next to my room higher.

Great room location. Great view over the golf course. The golf course and surrounding grounds is in excellent condition. The dinner and and service in the Restuarant was very good.

Well priced hotel with good facilities. We come to play golf with our 10yr old and 14yr old. They have a lovely relaxed nature that encourages families to play. This means that we get heaps of family time without complaints, doing things we love with our kids. The staff are very friendly and the space is wonderful, with a great bar and restaurant opening out to the golf course. Pool is always cold, but refreshing and the spa a welcome retreat. Due to the fact that the pool is cold, it never gets too busy! We'll be back

Great location on the golf course. The course was in great conditions and very interesting. Rooms very convenient and comfortable. The restaurant was very good with very tasty meals. Service overall was great as well.

Wines were a bit expensive. We had no other issues that would fall under this category. No complaints about the resort or the golf facilities.
