Eco Beach Wilderness Retreat

Fantastic location, pristine beach, tasty meals but very limited food options (expensive as well). Infinity pool is the best place to spend time but it gets very crowded. Also there should be a shade above the pool. The long sandy beaches with free to use kayaks, and hammocks are one of a kind. The eco tent we stayed is spacious enough, good way to disconnect from rest of the world and spend time in nature. Woke up in the morning with sounds of waves from the ocean and thousands of birds chirping together. Last 12km road to the resort is unsealed but nicely graded.

A contractor was working at the garden right infront our tent covering all our belongings and gadgets in thick dust as soon as we arrived which made us very annoyed :( they should have done that before our checkin.

What an awesome place, my wife and I just spent the most amazing week staying at Eco Beach in one of their Garden View Tents. Accommodation was just perfect for the 2 of us and the location is outstanding. The pool and bar facilities were fantastic and the beach is just stunning. We saw spectacular sunsets every night, the wildlife and marine life put on a show daily. The staff and management couldn't have been more attentive and accommodating. Everyone made us feel so welcome it was like we were the only people there at times. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway far from the hustle and bustle of daily life then I would highly recommend Eco Beach Resort. We'll definitely be back.

The location of Eco resort is stunning. Beautiful beaches, only the noise of the bush and the ocean and the most friendly and helpful staff ensure this is a very restful break. The sunset tour with Kevin was fantastic and great value.Watching the setting sun reflect on the stunning rock face whilst sitting in the sand dunes nibbling on delicious cheese platter and sipping on a drink was a memorable experience. nice pool and tent wasvery comfortable. the food was surprisingly excellent value and quite good.

The property is very dated. it’s in urgent need of a renovation as it’s looking very tired and rather drab. public toilets were never clean when I used them. the camp kitchen is extremely uninviting and poorly located with no outlook at all…. it’s like you are deliberately discouraged from using it.

Not being used to driving on unsealed roads with a 2 WD, we wondered what to expect. After 10 km of bumpy road, paradise awaited us. Who dreams of nature with lots of animals and a beautiful sandy beach and clean sea water is right here. Unfortunately, we have planned only one night at ECO Wilderness resort on our 8-week WA trip. That was a mistake. The manager and her crew were very friendly and helpful. And when you read the owner's philosophy in the documents, you can only imagine what it takes to build such an environmentally friendly resort. It is incomprehensible that there are guests who complain about a limited choice of menus, which is common for resorts more than 100 km out of town or complain about petty things. Enjoy the tranquility, the wonderful nature with countless birds, lizards, wallabies, the stunning beach, water activities, swimming pool, yoga and cool drinks! The villa was spacious, modern and clean, the bed comfy. There was a great veranda for watching animals or having a cup of coffee.

It is literally the most beautiful location and the staff truly go above and beyond. The food was delicious and despite all the reviews about no service or wifi mine worked fine and they also did have wifi at the main area (to be fair I was looking forward to not have service lol). The pool was so refreshing as well with stunning views and there were beautiful birds and butterflies all around.

The tent itself could be really hot during the day and the fan didn’t really help so made it a bit hard with 2 toddlers as couldn’t get them to nap and also wasn’t much to entertain them with- some toys would have been awesome. Obviously due to their ages I couldn’t do as much around the property as I would have liked but that’s not anyone’s fault (it just means I want to go back sometime when they are older).

A gorgeous isolated property. Excellent dirt road in. Eco tent was roomy with a comfy king size bed. The barra for dinner in the open-air restaurant, which overlooks the ocean, beach and sunset, was delish. Good morning coffee. Very friendly and efficient staff. Loved the communal jigsaw.

Just be aware: 1. Frogs in the loo - but thank goodness they left in the afternoon, not to return. 2 Our eco tent was along a boardwalk. Parking for our eco tent was a long way away and necessitated a few trips to bring in bags. I just wasn't aware of this fact (but probably would've booked anyway). 3. An earlier breakfast start at 7 am would have suited quite a few of us as you don't sleep in as the morning bird chorus immediately outside the canvas walls begins early. 4 Not able to plug in car fridge in eco tent if you're travelling. Luckily we were only there one night.

A truly magical location! A perfect place to reset the batteries. There were kayaks and SUPS, beach shelters with hammocks. I spent all my days on the beach and finished the evening in the infinity pool.

The lighting along the walkways to the villas and tents needs to be maintained. It was very dark in areas making it difficult to see the path. Extra BBQs would be a bonus especially when you’re in a villa quite some distance from the only communal BBQ.

Food, service, location was great! I love the tents, I had a really good sleep and was awoken by birds chirping and lots of kangaroos! The shower was hot with good water pressure. At first I didn’t think a fan would be enough in the warm Broome heat but it ended up being quite nice and cool once the sun had set. Car park was close to our tent, easy, short walk to the dining, bar, pool and beach. The beach is gorgeous, pristine and easily accessible.

1) We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for mains, however food was lovely once received, we still enjoyed it - very nice flavours and cooked well. 2) The children’s playground right near the dining area. After driving for hours and being hungry and hoping to enjoy a couple of drinks, the sunset and our meal, kids screaming and playing right near the dining area is not what we expected. 3) The drive in, approximately 10km of unsealed road and a couple of soft sandy spots wasn’t enjoyable with all our stuff clattering around in the back but was part of the ‘off the beaten track’ charm.

The property was beautifully remote with amazing friendly and supportive staff

My only complaint, and it’s not a big one- my stay was amazing- was that the chefs could be more creative with the menu to ensure more variety on the ingredients they are already using from other dishes in other meals. I was there 4 nights and would have been bored with the options if much longer. The food they have was absolutely beautiful though

Small things, shower needs a curtain or something to stop water getting out and shower heads aren’t the best. Not practical for babies in cots, would be good to have a curtain or something to pull across the entry to the bedroom so a cot can go behind the sliding door. Pool Would be great if it had heating
