The Sebel Yarrawonga Silverwoods

The rooms were very comfortable and the balcony gave a pleasant view of the garden and the lake. The bar and swimming pool were also very pleasant. The surroundings and the golf course were stunning.

We didn't want a big breakfast for $30 per person as advertised in the booking. So we went into town. If there was an à la carte menu for coffee and something light like toast or croisants we would have eaten at the hotel. We had dinner on the first night at the restaurant and what we did order was excellent. But there was a limited menu as there was no lamb or pork in the mains section on offer and I don't like pizza, pasta etc. Also one of our party arrived 'starving' and asked for a bread roll to start but we were told there weren't any, even though bread and butter plates and knives were set and another group of people did get a roll. It's not a big thing to ask for and people felt disappointed.

Enjoyed the pool and cocktails, and the room was well appointed.

This was a gifted getaway so we could rest, relax and take a break from young family demands. We were disappointed on several fronts. The lake view from our room was disappointingly abscured by rooftops. We'd imagined uninterrupted tranquil views for the price. Our bed was very uncomfortable, so we didn't have the restful nights sleep we were hoping for, another disappointment. The cocktail bar by the pool closed far too early. We had to multi order cocktails in order to relax by the pool with a second cocktail.

Location & setting are fantastic,the pool area is amazing & view over the lake from rooms & from the grounds are fantastic. Rooms & bathrooms very nice & really quiet at night.

We have stayed here before & i have commented on only 1 small hand soap being provided,how is this enough for a hand basin & a shower!!! Also,there seems to be ongoing staffing issues particularly at the pool,massive wait times for drinks & often the bar staff had to leave the area to collect snacks that had been ordered. 1 very concerning issue was that 1 of my family members asked for his drink after waiting more than 30mins for it & was told to 'go away'. This is not acceptable anywhere never mind at a hotel where the guests are paying top price both for the accomodation & the drink itself.

no concierge. had to wheel own bags to room on large trolley. staff at restaurant inattentive. first night we were essentially ignored and had to constantly asks for more drinks, our meals took literally hours to come out as there was a problem which they apologies for. we booked restaurant well in advance and on day of arrival asked where we would be seated…told by window in first half of restaurant…when we arrived they sat us in the rear of restaurant on a corner table next to fire hydrant. then we were ignored by staff. second night we specifically asked to be in front part of restaurant so we would t be ignored, we again had to ask staff for drinks and service….better than first night though.good nice but service lacking.

Sunset by the pool is the highlight, breathtaking view.

Parking is a bit far from the rooms. Reception signage is not clear enough. When we were looking for direction of reception from the carpark, the arrow took us all the way around the block instead of pointing directly towards reception. The reception sliding door could have been more welcoming if it had glass window on it. We walked pass it puzzling where reception was, and the automatic door opened then we saw the front counter.

Stunning views, beautiful amenities, friendly staff in all areas INC grounds keepers and cleaners. The relaxed feel in the pool area with music and a bar, featuring delicious cocktails was a favourite. A welcome bottle of wine with a personal message from Karen was a wonderful, unexpected gift. The entire resort was stunning & we felt like we were in north QLD.

No microwave in room which made it difficult to heat up baby food / bottles but I should have picked up on that listed in room facilities. Staff were more than happy to help us with this at reception.

Location is stunning! Views are gorgeous for a sunset or sunrise. The room was so nice to walk into, well designed and well kept and clean. Food at the restaurant was nice, meat was cooked great and the ricotta gnocchi was also perfect.

The service at the restaurant was a little disappointing, as well as the vegetables, were quite under cooked, specially the corn. Staff were friendly but quite careless as to even say they "forgot" about us once we were seated so we waited a while to order food.

it cost nearly 400 for a studio room which was one of the smallest I have stayed in it had a sink with washing up liquid and microwave and kettle and a tiny fridge with no freezer section but not one plate or any cuttlery or even a tea towel so don’t know how you were be meant to serve anything you heated up or dry the dishes which did not exist ! the complementary wine was one years past the recommended cellaring date which is hardly generous at times the service was not what you should get from a five star facility charging like they did drinks prices very expensive and when asking for suggestion on the wines in the restaurant the staff didn’t know anything

Location is spectacular and landscaping well established so far. Room size was adequate but lighting rather strange. Reception was not easily found on arrival. EV charging worked well when available. Restaurant was great.

The distance from car to room was long and exposed to the weather. The room furniture was adequate but uncomfortable. No comfortable seating. Bathroom lighting was poorly designed. Detergent/shampoo dispensers were fixed too high and in clumsy positions. Toilet seat was too low. Washbasin was inset too far from the user. No protocol for access to EV charging. Advertised health spa was NOT operating.

Very nice accommodation at the Sebel Yarrawonga in a well sized room with a view over looking the lake. Day spa facilities were very relaxing. The pool area was great, perfect spot to watch the sunset.

The distance the carpark was from the accommodation was a little inconvenient, as it was raining the day we departed. It would be good if there was come cutlery and plates in the room. Dinner menu needs to be bigger, possibly incorporate the lunch items.
