New Crossing Place Motel

After a 10 hour drive from Sydney, we really needed a break. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. As we were travelling on Good Friday, my husband was particularly pleased to see there were beers in the bar fridge! Bed was super comfortable (we had the King size). Staff was lovely, hotel was quiet. Netflix was great. Shower was divine, lots of hot water and good pressure from the 'rain style' shower head. Have recommended to friends if they need to break a driving trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Would definitely stay again.

Exactly what you would expect for a motel at this price level. Room was clean , bathroom good size , nice size pool (though we didn’t get a chance to use it ) check in staff lovely . Easy to walk to from main st shops/restaurants if you are up to it . Overall would recommend without hesitation.

Bed was a little bit soft for my liking but probably great for someone else’s .

Cleanliness was fantastic, room was extremely comfortable for an overnight stay.

No shower chairs available & they didn’t have any. I had to use an outdoor chair in the shower with a towel in the shower recess so my child could sit down & wash, due to not being able to stand after spinal fusion surgery. When I made the booking I did request a shower chair but no one answered my message about not having one available.

Photos did the motel no justice…. Exceeded our expectations. Very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Has all the comforts you would expect with with few extras like mini bar. Very quiet location but still central to town centre. Walking distance to Vietnam Veterans Memorial, information centre. Definitely recommend

Could not fault the place

Quiet, easy access, most comfortable bed ever!!

The alarm clock, lamp and both power boards on both sides were not plugged in to a power point. I then could not find the power point so was unable to use the lamp..

The location was perfect for us, the ability to check in early (even without the room being ready) was very convenient. In other words, the process was very easy.

Initially we had considerable trouble getting the TV to work.

Suggestion to put another bench with power for the kettle and toaster rather than using the bathroom. Just a little dangerous. Room was comfortable and very clean

The Sofa/lounge is very uncomfabul. You can not sit, lie or get comftabul at all on the sofa/lounge. This was a large reason i left bearly. You need to get a new three seater sofa/lounge in all the 1 bedroom apartments that allow you to sit, lie and relax.

The location was close to everything and was a beautiful quiet spot. The staff were amazing and welcoming and the rooms were beautiful. One of the best motels that I've stayed in.

From check-in to final departure, Anne made sure that all went smoothly, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable and functional, BBQ area was great and our crew really enjoyed kicking back after a hard days work, our company will be staying here again when we are doing work in the area.
