Citadines on Bourke Melbourne

Fantastic location on Bourke Street with the tram stop right outside. Staff very friendly which was lovely.

unfortunately my room was not like the pictures and I looked at a block wall which was a shame as it made the room quite dark. would be nice to have 2 price points as I would have paid more to have the advertised view.

The studio we stayed in was incredibly spacious and matched the photos exactly as advertised. The addition of a couch and coffee table made our stay even more comfortable. We spent a week at the hotel and found that it was well-equipped with kitchen utensils, although we didn't end up using them. The complimentary coffee and kettle provided by the hotel were a delightful bonus. One feature we particularly enjoyed was the dressing space beside the shower. Additionally, the hotel offers a convenient free self-service laundry facility, although we didn't have the chance to explore any other amenities during our busy stay. Situated in the bustling CBD area, the hotel's location made it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot or catch public transportation.

However, we found that the cleaning schedule wasn't daily, and there were occasionally long wait times for the elevator due to the limited number available. Overall, despite these minor inconveniences, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

you had to let reception know if you wanted room service there was only one chair in the room (an office chair), so we had to ask for aother chair for when we decided to eat in/ to be able to sit down at the dinner table room service was unreliable, one day they did not show, another day we had to let them know four times some of the cutlery and dishes were not clean

The staff were absolutely amazing! We originally booked a Standard Queen room and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment free of charge. 1 bedroom had a large queen, and the other had 2 singles. It was fitted with 2 bathrooms, 1 with a very spacius shower and the other with a bath and shower combo. The apartment was exceptional, the beds were comfy, and the shower had really good pressure. We will definitely be back 🥰

The pillows were very average, and both TV's had your normal free to air channels. There were no movie channels, and you couldn't chromecast to them either.

Room is bigger enough for 2 persons with twin bed request fulfilled. The main destination we have this trip was Melbourne Park (AO) and it is just 15 minutes walk from hotel. Travel to nearby dining places is also made easy. Good selection of this hotel for a short trip of just 5 days. Rece3ption area is very spacious & inviting and great if one wants to meet friends as well.

Aircon is a bit of a concern at night as it runs and stops (as usual) but stopping for a relative long period of time at night thus making the room stuffy. Maybe there is something we can adjust with the keypad (?) but we had not tried or requested hotel staff for help.

Very comfortable stay in the centre of Melbourne. Close to Bourke Street mall plus easy walk to the MCG. Very comfortable beds.

The location was fantastic! Plenty of food options in the same street, tram stop right outside the door, quiet despite being in the middle of the city. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble including keeping our bags safe for us before check-in and after check-out. The apartment had mostly everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. Check out at 11am was fantastic, less rushed than the usual 10am.

Water leaked out from under the door of the shower. Every time we got out, we were walking onto a soaking wet towel (bath mat did not cut it). We had to ask multiple times for more towels. It would have been nice to have servicing more frequent-we said no on day 2 and they didn’t automatically come back the next day.

We stayed at Citadines in Bourke St for a week to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary and it was AMAZING. It is so central and all you have to do is step out the door and catch the 86 or 96 tram up or down Burke Street to get to where you want if you don't want to walk. The staff were incredible and so helpful. They always acknowleged us with a smile or a hello when we passed front desk and were most helpful if we had any extra requests. The room (1 one bedroom apartment) was spacious and clean. An all round fantastic stay. The price was also excellent for our weeks stay. Thank you Team Citadines!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The location was wonderfully central to the CBD and the Tram stop was right outside our door. I would highly recommend Citidines and would stay here again on our next visit to Melbourne. It made our life easy especially being our first trip to Melbourne. Thank you.

The fridge being set to 1 degree on arrival. We had to wait for the fridge to come down in temperature the next day once we realised it was not on the correct setting. We had cold goods in the fridge at the time. The apartment could do with a few plastic bowls / microwave bowls placed in the cupboards for usage.

It was a pleasant 1-bedroom unit with great block out curtains. The bathroom was spacious, and the kitchen had everything you needed. The location was great, and the tram stop outside, made for easy access to other parts of Melbourne. Elevators were quick and easy to get, and staff were friendly.

The room was stuffy, especially at night and there were no windows or balcony doors to open to get fresh air. The bedroom was a bit cramped and hard to get into bed from one side. The noise from the construction site next door woke you every morning around 6.30am so no holiday sleepins. The motel charged an extra $330 for the booking fee, which was removed after I pointed it out but took days to come back on my card. (so watch your bank transactions)
