Golden Grain Motor Inn

The room for 2 was the most spacious & comfy we've ever stayed in, with parking handy. The recreation building had a big heated pool with a deep end (yay!), a spa, showers & WC, plus billiards, pingpong, and a kitchen area ....all free and in good condition. The cooked breakfast was excellent & generous, and all staff were ready to go the extra mile. We've already recommended it to friends & hope to go there one day again.

We'd have liked the recreation building to be open a little longer (e.g. for a pre-breakfast swim), but this is a minor quibble (as nothing could take away our praise of this motel!)

We were only there for one night, in a Superior Queen Spa room. Very spacious, and that includes the well-appointed bathroom. The Manager was extremely helpful in many ways. The accommodation was very clean and very close to everything we could have needed. The water pressure was great and there were a number of extra amenities. Finally, the breakfast was well-cooked and delivered exactly on time. What more could one ask for ...

I came to Horsham for climbing in Arapiles and I spent two nights in this motel with other three friends. The position is convenient to the cafes and shops. Staff is super kind. The rooms were comfortable, with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle so we could have our first breakfast before leaving in the morning. The bathroom was super clean and modern looking too. We could also enjoy the jacuzzi and the indoor swimming pool in the evening! I will definitely recommend it!

Perfect stop on our way home from Adelaide to Melbourne. The room was spacious and clean, good shower, there was everything we needed for a quick stop and rest. The lady on the reception was nice, helpful, and polite. We arrived late, and she sent all instructions in advance. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use an indoor pool, but it was open and looked really good. Keep it for the next time.

Swimming pool and game area. Location

We reached late due to traffic and took sometime for kids to go sleep. Kids makes noice and someone complained. Manager shouted at us and said he will call cops to kick us out. It's too harsh and couldn't forget that insult. If he could say politely then we would be happy to accept our mistake.

The room was very spacious and comfortable . Bed was comfy. The ensuite was also a good size and very clean. The parking bays were all large enough to take a med/large 4WD without being really close to the car parked next to it. Great amenities - nice pool and games room. Property across the road from May Park which has a playground for the kids and walking distance to petrol station and McDonalds and Victoria Hotel (next door). Even though on main road, there was not any road noise. Great place to stay for either families or couples.

Great location: near fast food restaurants. Simple facilities such as pool table and table tennis which is enough for the family entertainment. Friendly service: going the extra mile to answer our queries. Comfortable rooms and most importantly place were clean. Showerhead pressure are strong and had the best shower in a motel.

Located next to the Vic Hotel. Excellent for meals. Large room and comfortable bed.

Pool room was locked. Will try the heated pool next time we stay. We did not ask for details at reception but think it a bit early in the year for the pool to be heated. It had been a cold day so did not want to swim in cold water.

Extremely spacious and clean room with complimentary soap, body lotion, shaving g cream. Hotel is in a great location close to the CBD. The hosts were very friendly who were very accommodating allowing us to park our large camper trailer onsite.

Only downside was the light outside our room during the night was too bright which unfortunately kept us awake.

Friendly welcome, lovely big room, almost a suite. Swimming pool and spa were great. Whole place clean and kept tidy throughout. Great location, close to centre of town, supermarkets etc
