Seaview Motel & Apartments

Very large spacious, clean room. Close to the beach and the main drag. Overall all a very pleasant stay.

No actual sea view, despite the name. You couldn't open the window in the master bedroom. A Free standing fan was provided but the room was still a bit stuffy. That room really needs air conditioning. There was a split system air conditioner but only in the living area.

Very clean and modern accommodation! Could definitely imagine to stay longer next time, this time only passing through. Great location in Apollo Bay, close to sea and many restaurants.

Minor comment: We arrived around 7pm Sat and left at 9am Sun, without seeing anyone from the Motel. Getting and returning keys all worked flawlessly - nothing to complain; nevertheless missed a bit the human touch. But I guess it’s me who still hasn’t got fully used to it! Anyway, still liked the place very much and recommend it - my assumption is the people who run it must also be very nice and friendly - would have loved to meet them! :-)

Seaview motel and apartments was extremely clean and tidy, and the place sit just away from the beach which helps you feel more like a local, even as a visitor! Beds were always made, and the place was truly always so clean when we'd return from a trip around the area! The fact the rooms came with a cooking top and a bunch of clean towels, products etc made the experience so amazing. There were parking spots available within the motel which also made me and my friends feel super safe to leave as we went to bed at night! Will absolutely be coming here again if I'm returning to Apollo Bay! You can always see cleaners and staff walking around and the place always feels lively and not uncomfortable/scary!

Nothing at all! We checked corners for bugs or any dirty spots and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness!

Nice and recently renovated room with kitchenette and modern bathroom (they even had more than one set of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, soap and conditioner but only one set of hand and face towels instead of two). The reception closes early (at 5:30 pm) but we could request a late check-in and they left the key (actual key) in a lockbox.

Our room was on the upper level but there was no elevator to help us carry our heavy bags up the stairs. The water in the shower has unexpected temperature fluctuations at points and turning the nob slightly massively changes the temperature.

Modern & spacious rooms for a motel. Within walking distance to the city centre. Friendly staff and easy checkout.

It may be called Seaview but that's a little optimistic for 3rd-row building. If you don't clean up your tea mug, you'll be charged $20 ... which is a little excessive.

Good location for Apollo Bay but I think if I did the Ocean Road route again, I wouldn’t stay at Apollo Bay. The motel was fine the a night.

It was fine but we didn’t see anyone when we left at about 8.30 the following morning. Just for hotel’s info - you need to check that everything is working. The secondary shower wasn’t working and some of the lights weren’t working. Not a disaster - just letting you know. Also could do with some sort of Venetian blind as the window looking onto the street is huge and very exposed.

The kitchenette was serviced with everything we needed for a one-night stay. The fridge made no noise at all. The location was great for an easy walk into town for groceries, eating out and coffee, and a lovely early morning walk along the beach.

We didn't appreciate the passive/aggressive sign on the wall telling us that the management were happy to clean our dishes for an extra $20 fee. Especially after we had to clean 2 spoons which had another guest's dried porridge on them. IMO, as a health and safety issue, guests should not be expected to clean anything.

Great location tuck 200m away from the main strip of Apollo Bay. The room has been renovated so it's surprisingly nice for a small motel. The standard room can sleep a family of 5 (if 2 of the kids are under 10 and willing to share the sofa bed). Most of all, the staff were friendly, informative to make sure we got all the info for after hour check-in (as you do exploring GOR), and they're Honest. I dropped an expensive piece of jewellery in the room, after check out housekeeping found it and we got a phone call from the office. Very appreciative of that!

Very clean, generously proportioned and recently renovated bathrooms were lovely. Smart TV was also excellent as it was raining and some indoor entertainment was good to have on hand. STaff were very friendly but didn't pester with service either

No actual Seaviews, in fact 'patio' led staight out onto the street. Inadequate window dressings meant people walking past could look straight into the apartment, so no privacy! Some privacy blinds could solve this and accomm would then be very good.
