McCracken Country Club

the view was amazing and the Villa was so clean and spacious. The villa was perfect for me and my friends to enjoy the long weekend away. also the bar staff were so friendly when we were having fun at the pool table/dart board Saturday night. Also the Pool was so Fun

the only things that weren't great was that one of the door handles to my friends bedroom broke, but i spoke to reception at checkout and they were sorting it. the only other thing was one of the blankets in the Main Bedroom had holes and was unusable.

The location is good, just on the edge of town, about 3 kms away with nice views over the golf course. Rooms fairly standard style motel, mine had small balcony, lounge suite and small table. Bathrooom had spa bath but wasn’t overly large area. There is a heated indoor pool. If you like playing golf then this is ideal place to stay as situated right at the course. A large Coles supermarket is 5 min walk if you need supplies.

The bistro had quite nice food but the service was very slow. Breakfast is available, the views from the bistro are lovely. No undercover parking.

Great location. Great views. Even better if you enjoy golf. It’s our number one choice to stay each year when we visit the area. Port Elliot Hotel is the best pub and it has the best bakery in the south (or even SA). All close by.

The rooms are beginning to look a bit dated. The spa jets weren’t exactly clean, the towels we were given were shredded and frayed on one side (worn out). Change the towels, the curtains, clean up the spa bath, give it a fresh coat of paint and maybe put a cheap coffee pod machine in each room - that would be a nice touch. Then that would make it a true luxury stay!

The McCracken Country Club hotel room offers a comfortable and worthwhile stay, providing excellent value for money. The menu was minimalistic in main meal choice, especially for the price. The information paper menus handed told one opening and closing times, the main desk stated another and the bar, different again. specifically, the breakfast menu..states 8am to 11pm.. making it an all day breakfast... uhhm not.. turn up at 10 35 and they say the kitchen closed for breakfast come back in an hour for lunch . That, made me change my dinner plans to eating out.

Relaxing in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with the children. The spa was large 👌 shower pressure was amazing. We all had a great stay. The breakfast staff were really friendly & accommodating. The food was fantastically delicious. The duck leg, steak, pork belly, really all the meals were well prepared & extremely tasty. Breakfast menu was very tasty & well portioned. I highly recommend everyone visit this beautiful resort & enjoy it as much as we do. 5 🌟 stars.

The heated swimming pool and spa were great. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful.

The dryer for the room was broken, it had a sign so was obviously an old issue. Unfortunately I did not notice this until after I had used the washing machine. The food at the restaurant was great, however at breakfast I had alot of egg shell in my breakfast. I then went and asked for some water to help clear it out of my mouth. Upon giving our table a bottle of water, the staff then cleared our table off of food before my daughter and I had finished eating, without a word or asking if we had finished. As there was still a full plate of bacon and half a plate of muffins and eggs, i was very shocked and didn't stop them.

I liked the beautiful building outside and the amazing grounds. The rather simple breakfast was quite nice but not the coffee. I had to purchase the good coffee additionally which should be included in the price of brekky. Altogether the simple brekky plus coffee cost me $41. That is excessive I think.

The room was dated, I think for $ 294 per night it could be much better. I loved the big spa bath. All was very clean.

we liked how close the room was to the gym and pool area. the room was big enough and met r standards. r lunch and breakfast was over priced but tasted good. it was nice and clean when we checked in and when we had r room made the cleaners did a good job

the bed was to hard. the wifi kept jumping out and wouldnt let us play so of r games if u offering free wifi should include every thing its not like the place couldnt afford it. the gym equipment was out of date and wifi hardly worked in the gym and i need it to work to watch my father at home on r cameras. the dinner we had was over priced and tasted like crap. we had money to stay a extra night but was turned down due to the placed was booked out we were there 1st we should have been given more of a option. there was no life guard in the pool area so there shouldnt have been allowed to have children there and the rules stay pool is open between 8am-8pm yet people were there at 6am-8am making alot of noise the pool doors should be lock when pool is closed.

Nice spacious room, good bathroom with spa bath, good views over golf course, good location near Victor Harbor and sepermarkets at top of road. Weather was windy and rainy in the evening so it was nice ot have a warm bistro to eat in with a resaonable choice.

I couldn't get either of the two Tesla destination chargers to work on my car, though they appear to be working with a Hyundai. Toilet was a bit awkward behind the door. TV was a bit small and not SMART and could not cast to it.
