Vine Inn Barossa

The accommodation consisted of a separate bedroom & sitting room. This is great for two people with different sleeping habits. The motel is in the main street & close to dining options.

The parking area for units 37-47 is the dreariest space in Nuriootpa. It is rectangular with no relief; there are no plants or shade. The supermarket parking area is quite pleasant in comparison. The toilet seat shifted alarmingly if you twisted around but it wasn't dangerous. The bed was a little hard for my taste.

I actually stayed at the Vine Grove apartment, 350m down the road. Not hard to find. I was surprised at how well stocked it was to assist with an economical stay. Cooking my own meal would have been easy to do. The tea and coffee were of a good quality. The bed was comfortable, the heating efficient, lighting easily accessed. Wifi easily connected. A 4 out of 5 stay

The bath/shower. I'm old and careful about my balance. I chose not to use the shower. It was in the bath and had a step to get into and out. Far too risky for me and something I'll ensure to avoid when I make future bookings anywhere. Luckily, I only stayed overnight and had a shower at my next destination.

We stayed in a newer room - they were so clean & spacious & we enjoyed using the spa bath. The outdoor pool was in a lovely garden setting & the water was heated so we could enjoy a swim even though the weather was cooler. We ate dinner in the hotel - delicious food, large serves & great value! We'd stay here again & recommend it to others!

If we wanted late check-out, it would cost $15 per hour extra.

Newly renovated, functional rooms, very clean, well located and good value for money. The cleaning staff were very helpful and the check in experience while at a different location was excellent.

What a pity the person who I handed the key to, to check out must, have got up on the wrong side of the bed. Mentioned we had issues with the key and really she couldn't of cared less and was in so much of a rush said, it's already been fixed before . A thanks for staying with us and safe travels would have been more appropriate.

Facilities such as laundry and swimming pool and clean accommodation. The restaurant was good and bar staff very friendly.

Initially front office staff over the phone could not accommodate ground floor request- I felt it was too hard basket. I then emailed request through booking.com and the request was granted. Which was very much appreciated.

I was disappointed where we had to park the car it was not out the front of our room I have disability with my legs the car park was 3 rooms away and and it was pouring down with rain and tring to get out luggage in the room was horrendous. Apart from that the meals were lovely and the workers were all fantastic we had two main meals there we were with the elders retirement officers function

Accommodation was clean and the location different. Check in was in the pub yet the accommodation in a totally different area. Food in the Vine Inn was exceptional, even if a little bit of a walk. From ordering to delivery it was extremely quick.

Having check in a totally different location to where the actual accommodation was strange from what we're used too. Otherwise no major issues.

Clean room, good facilities for the price point, good location in Nuriootpa within walking distance of shops, public space, and some points of interest, notably Penfolds and the Barossa Distillery, friendly staff, attached pub convenient for a schnitzel and a big screen with the football on

The nearby bottle shop drive thru was a bit noisy late night, door lock seemed a little on the weak side considering it faced open air

The room had carparking basically at the front door and the room was spacious and clean with everything we needed to be self contained and very comfortable for a few nights. The staff were very helpful and always happy. Extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

We were missing a tea-towel and a wine glass which were provided quickly once we asked. The shower over the bath was a little tricky to get in and out of and had an extra step to contend with, they have installed a grab rail to assist. The air-conditioner is in the loungeroom which meant airflow to the bedroom was a little stifled, but there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Convenient- in main street. Clean- looked a bit tired and aged. Parking at front door was handy.

Need to make it clear where you are booked in. We thought we were booked in to Vine Inn. When we checked in, we were told that the booking was actually at the Vine Court. Vine Inn looked nice, but Vine Court was a 20th century motel.
