Gorgeous pool and gardens. We had dinner at Harrisons onsite restaurant, and the service and food was exceptional. The interior seems quite dated and nothing special, but was still a lovely place and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

I think it is quite expensive for a slightly dated property by comparison to other places we have stayed. Around $600 a night and the rooms and bathrooms were pretty average. The shower for example was in a bath with a shower curtain. No separate toilet and the ensuite had a 1980’s style louvre door.

The buffet breakfast was excellent and offered so much variety. The pool was beautiful and always clean. Location of the hotel is fantastic backing onto the beach so you can go for a walk or enjoy the view.

I joined the loyalty program but the staff member who signed me up didn’t do it properly and now I have to chase it up which is really annoying.

The amount of pool area is excellent. There is a large freshwater pool as well as multiple lagoons, with plenty of deck chairs available. If you like your pool & lagoon water on the warmer side then Feb, Mar, April are ideal. The rooms are a good size. The buffet breakfast is good value. There is a shuttle bus that goes between the hotels and the town. There is a fee, $7 per person one way. You walk into the town either along the beach or along the road, it is approximately 20mins walk, depending on your stamina.

The music from the pool bar can be intrusive. The poolside cabanas have gone up in price , $150-175 per day which is a bit steep in my opinion.

The outdoor space and amenities. The location is excellent and the resort is very well maintained on the outside.

Room 6108 has a few eyesores with plaster and needs touching up on corners and crevices especially near the floor. For the amount you pay the walls should be 100% perfect. I don’t want to see patchy holes and scuff marks on walls. The lagoon house restaurant was very mediocre with their choice of meals and the taste was very average. For the cage they need to change their meal choice as it was the same every day. Also they close too early in the afternoon.

The pools are amazing, the ability to order from your sun bed with QR code was great, and the new Asian fusion restaurant that recently opened at the hotel was exceptional, the breakfast especially. The swim-up bar was everything you'd expect it to be and more. Great location if you don't mind a 25min walk into town. Buses into town available on demand made it easy if not wanting to walk or in a rush.

The buffet breakfast was good but not amazing for the price. The made-to-order eggs were great and there was a decent amount of variety but the rest was pretty average. The bread was very standard, lacked a good variety of tropical fruits and presentation left a lot to be desired. The hotel can't really do much about it but as with a lot of buffets, it was a bit disconcerting having young children running around serving themselves often not mindful of hygiene. Coffees took a very long time to be made. A bit hit-and-miss with staff, some were great and very attentive and others were clearly working to fund a holiday that they'd prefer to be focusing on.

The day we had at the pool with the Cabana was excellent and we were really well looked after by staff and overall the stay was excellent and the food in the three restaurants was excellent

In terms of the experience all was great - only issue was trying to book the Cabana in advance - the IT platform did not work - once it was booked for us we were sent a payment link which didn't work and the room was booked and cancelled twice so that needs looking at and it was clunky and not working on both safari and google chrome. The service in the Feast and Deck and Harrisons was exceptional - Finlay who looked after us at Harrisons deserves a special mention. The food at the Lagoon House was excellent but the service not as good - it just did not feel as well organised but the meal was fabulous.

The best resort we’ve stayed in! Loved the rooms, facilities and staff! The swim up bar and lagoons were amazing!! The resort was super clean, well maintained and felt like you were in tropical paradise. Plenty of food options with the small cafe near reception for coffee, snacks and Breakfast, and then the Feast and Harrison’s restaurant. We loved the resorts Daintree cocktail bar made even better with the live music (by the super talented Kiki) on the Thursday and Friday nights). This resort had thought of everything down to water refilling stations and reusable drink bottles throughout. We can’t wait to return and stay at the Sheraton again soon, it was magical and worth every cent!!

There is nothing we could fault at this property.

What is there not to like at the Sheraton Grand Mirage! This is a 5-star facility with an endless supply of fun and comfort. We left the first hotel we had reserved on Booking.com because it was a disaster and filthy. We decided to sperge on the Grand Mirage, and we were so happy that we did. This is a true resort-style accommodation. There were so many pools we did not even see all of them. The rooms were fully stocked and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The restaurants were all first class, and the staff was all amazing. My son and I golfed, and we all swam all day. It was the most relaxing part of our 2-week trip to Australia. We were so happy that the first hotel was so bad, making us move to the Sheraton.

It was so big that we got lost a few times trying to find the right pool, parking lot, lobby, etc. But other than that, it was amazing. Had we stayed longer, I'm sure we would have figured it all out.

The resort itself was stunning and so close to the beach. We loved that we could order drinks and food right by the pool to the umbrella we were under. Staff were fantastic and the room we stayed in was beautiful.

Didn’t love that their wasn’t a gym on site. The “gym” was at the country club over the road and turns out wasn’t included even though we asked at reception if I was and told there was no extra fee for using it. We ended up with it on our bill..

Absolutely loved our stay. Everything was just as lovely as the photos suggest. What really made our stay an 11/10 were the staff - they seriously couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to Cameron and Ben who we had the pleasure of dealing with at the front desk, Jo who regularly accommodated our requests over the phone, Andy who met us often in the driveway with handy tips for the best places to check out in town, and Michael the general manager who even took the time to speak with us in person about our stay. Thanks guys, you’re all awesome. We will be back!

Expensive, but probably worth it in the end!
