Lake Weyba Cottages Noosa

This was the 3rd time we have stayed here as we love it so much. A little bit of luxury and total peace and quiet except for the birds which we love. Each cottage has its own covered deck and is separate from any other cottage. Lovely native bush is around each one with an outlook towards the park like grounds. Lovely walk to Lake Weba where you can sit and relax or go for a canoe ride. Or cottage had a spa bath, separate bathroom, lovely comfortable bed, kitchen/dining facilities and small seating area. Lovely romantic setting a short drive to Eumundi markets, Noosa or Coolum and surrounding areas.

1st 2 times staying we were welcomed with a lovely basket of fruit and goodies, this time there was only milk and normal bathroom supplies. Was a slight disappointment but didn't ruin our stay as we love this place.

The peacefulness and privacy. Having the firepit outside and the log fire inside. Access to the lake and having the canoes was really good. Suggest the boathouse be relocated closer to the water for ease of access. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again.

The kitchen workspace was very small and it was difficult to cook using both hot plates as the frying pan was too big for the surface. The kitchen was insufficiently stocked with not much crockery and cutlery. E.g, 3 forks, 2 Mugs, 2 bowls, no microwave containers and no serving dishes for salads etc. No covered car parking.

The location is beautiful, very peaceful, lovely grounds and amazing to see kangaroos on the lawn in the morning. The cabin was great, very comfortable. Nice that there were bikes and kayaks available free of charge too.

Could have done with a few more cups etc - there was enough but it was just one per person. Personally I would have preferred a mirror and wardrobe in the main bedroom rather than a giant TV - but I don't like TVs in bedrooms! These are minor niggles and didn't spoil our weekend at all.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, very clean and well appointed and had such a beautiful view over the property / over the lake. The spa at the front of the cabin taking advantage of the view is a main selling point. We loved being able to explore on the bikes and see all the animals at the property.

We were disappointed that there were ladies riding their horses outside the cabins at sunset - and we could easily be seen through the windows. We had booked with the hopes to have a spa bath together while watching the sunset, but we had to close the blinds for our privacy because of these ladies - which defeated the point of the spa and a view over the lake at the most romantic time of the day? We were also disappointed for the price per night not to have a coffee machine - even a Nespresso machine which the website showed images of.

The cabins were private, comfortable, clean, well equipped and spacious. The outlook and surroundings were so tranquil and relaxing - magic! The fireplace just added to the ambiance. Loved the kangaroos around the property and the other animals too. Even though you feel miles from anywhere, Peregian beach and Noosa are a short car trip away if you want to indulge in a nice lunch or dinner. We took our Nespresso machine as I didn’t want to drive for coffee and we were glad we did so we could wake up and have coffee on the deck or by the fire. T he lake is beautiful and I’d recommend taking some wine and cheese down to watch the sunset. We will definitely recommend and return. Thanks!

The property was beautiful and quiet. We had access to kayaks which we took out on the lake, a guest services house with extra toiletries and we could visit the animals that live at the property. The room was a bit dusty but otherwise perfect with everything we needed. It feels like your in the middle of no where on the property but your only a 5 minute drive to a shop and 20 minutes to Noosa Heads. We would definitely come back!

Everything! Spacious house and beautiful grounds. The garden grounds are shared with other guests however it was very quiet (especially coming from the inner city!) Lots of birds which was lovely. A nice stroll down to the lake and it was great to use the kayaks and paddle boards. We stayed in the two bedroom pavilion and it was so spacious and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back :)

Nothing, it was wonderful.

The honeymoon cottage was in the most stunning setting with beautiful beaches only a 10 min drive away. We loved watching the kangaroos and birds every morning whilst having our breakfast. We kayaked on the lake, rode the bikes and relaxed on the sunbeds by the pond - we had an amazing time and hope to go back one day when we visit from the UK again.

Amazing setting which exceeded our expectations.The property was beautiful and so peaceful with an abundance of wildlife literally at our front door. The cottage was fully equipped and so comfortable and the log fire was a bonus. The veranda faced the lake and we were so relaxed sipping wine and enjoying the seclusion and listening to the sounds of the birds....amazing. We will definitely be making a return visit.

Absolutely nothing it was perfect.

Very cosy cottage (the one we had was obvioulsy recently tastefully renovated) in a beautiful lakefront garden where birds are numerous, kangaroos and other wildlife feel at home. The bicycles are a great addition and it is really easy to cycle to Peregian Beach. We do not particularly like the Sunshine coast as we find it much too developed now, but this place made up for the crowds and overdevelopment. It rained when we were there but it was not such an issue as the cottage were really nicely appointed with a nice kitchen and bathroom. We could have stayed a week but were on our way to our holiday in Heron Island.

Nothing. A washing machine in the "amenities cottage" could be great (we ended up very muddy due to the heavy rain after cycling to Peregian Beach)
