Comfort Inn on Main Hervey Bay

Everything. From the minute I arrived till we left. Staff were great, rooms and grounds were impeccable. Rooms were a great size for us,bathroom was beautiful, no outside noise even though it was full, pool area was beautiful, great location near takeaway restaurants, shopping centres,splash park - everything was right close by. Drive or walk. ...I'm booking again for later in the year. Everything here was perfect for our stay. It makes a huge difference when all the staff are lovely too. From reception,cleaners,maintenance workers etc I would recommend family and friends to stay here

The only thing that could be fixed is the shower area. There is nothing that stops the water from flooding the bathroom floor (i dont mean a little bit of water ) it was alot of water and could become dangerous as the floor got very slippery. I travelled with my aging mum she too loved the room but was scared when showering. She managed fine but extremely cautious.

Sonia very kindly arranged a very early check in for me off an overnight bus. Hugely appreciated. It was very well located for the Greyhound bus terminal. There were supermarkets and some eateries in good proximity though I was out on long day trips 2 days and things close earlier so beware of that and plan accordingly. Very good facilities in room and very comfortable bed. Great shower. Very clean. Nice and quiet at night. Day tour companies will pick up and drop off from Comfort Inn.

The motel offers a nice, spacious room with a comfy bed and a clean bathroom. Parking is right in front of your unit. You can easily walk down the road to the beach. Walking to restaurants is a bit further, but a nice walk along the esplanade. Free drinks and a discount on food in a nearby restaurant were a nice touch. Free water was also offered in the room, so was instant coffee and even some cookies. The bed was clean and tidy, so was the bathroom. There also was a TV and air conditioning, a fridge and enough space for bags and even a desk. We had a spare bed which we did not need.

The room is not new or freshly renovated, so you should not expect anything too fancy. But for us this was not an issue. It still looks nice though.

Good size room lots of space. It was well equipped for a guest room. Big comfortable bed. The ceiling fan and air con unit kept the room at a pleasant temperature. Good location for getting around the Hervey Bay Area.

The only gripe we had was the shower in the bathroom. This worked OK, but as the cubicle was not fully enclosed, the bathroom floor got a wash at the same time. It just needed a door.

We've made a few visits to Hervey Bay area for property hunting purposes during this year, having stayed in 4 x different motels now. Comfort Inn was definitely head and shoulders above the other motels we've stayed in. What made the stay even better for us was the friendly staff, standard of cleanliness, larger than standard room, excellent open expanse parking, closeness to shopping amenities, and unforseen food & drink discount vouchers for the RSL that were presented to us upon arrival. Further note, as I discovered, if you are a current serving ADF member, you will also receive a discount for your stay, but you must contact the motel directly to arrange this. I will be definitely staying at the Comfort Inn again during my next visit to Hervey Bay in the coming weeks, and highly recommend this motel for anyone contemplating a stay - it is exceptional value for money in my opinion.

Staff were exceptional. We discovered our bank accounts had been incorrectly frozen by our bank upon arrival and we did not have access to funds. Staff were extremely understanding and let us stay overnight whilst we resolved the issue. I could not speak highly enough of management here they were absolutely fantastic to us. Location is great being central and near the RSL club and the rooms are very quiet and comfortable.

Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful Room was spacious, modern and very clean Bed very comfortable Location excellent, within walking distance of shops and entertainment Everything you needed was in room toaster, crockery, cutlery etc Even though it was on a busy street it was very quiet as rooms were away from street and all units were on ground level which is excellent for older guest.

Couldn't fault anything

We were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious our room was. It was immaculately clean & well appointed. Bed was lovely & comfortable. Easy walk to the RSL where we met friends for dinner with the added bonus of discount vouchers provided by the Motel (greatly appreciated). Check-in was super easy even though our arrival was out of hours. Great communication & easy access to our room key via code & key box.

The room was newly renovated so very clean and well appointed with all the facilities for making breakfast and coffee/tea. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure that she would have been available if we had required help during the night. The Motel is located very close to RSL Club for dinner. (Bonus offer for drink and discount). However we walked further towards the Bay and ate at the Gate Indian Restaurant.

the location is excellent for us, perfect walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants! the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even lending us scissors to be able to wrap some things up to send to our family at home in the UK the overall feeling was safe, would maybe like a soy hole in the door to check who was coming/knocking we had a few conversations with the housekeeping team and all were very lovely! asking if we needed anything extra in the room!
