Colonial Motel & Apartments

Bed was very comfy, room size was great, clean and tidy except for the dining table (a little sticky but easily resolved), soundproofing and general noise level was good, friendly reception lady was really helpful.

Foxtel was available but didn't work (fuzzy screen was not watchable, and when we tried to stream a movie from my phone, we could mirror my screen but as soon as the movie started, only the sound would come out of the tv. Wasn't the worst thing ever! Also, while we had a microwave and were right opposite Aldi (excellent positioning) a little electric hob would have been great, but that's only a minor criticism! Otherwise, a fabulous place, great value for money!

Awesome rooms, close to the Main Street of Young. Good selection of appliances (fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster) as well as tea and coffee and hot chocolate sachets. A small bottle of fresh milk is provided when you check in. TV has Foxtel. Extra towels are under the sink. Reverse air con is very effective. We used it on a cold spring night and the heat worked well. Shower pan was very clean (perhaps brand new?). They provided a portacot for our baby and it was made up with cute printed linen too.

Beds were a bit springy and saggy. There was a strong scent of air freshener when we first entered the room and it lasted the whole stay. Probably not good for asthmatics.

Everything was spotless clean very comfortable Furniture. full kitchen fantastic bath and washer and dryer. I'll be returning again and hope the apartment is available when I do. It was quiet in a fantastic location and no noise was heard from the nearby highway during the night A+ Thank You to the owners for such a great stay.

Main bedroom Queen Mattress needs replacing in the 2-story apartment as the springs dig into the body. I'm sure this is on their list to get replaced asap or a new topper.

The friendly staff who gave us an upgrade to a king room. This also meant our car was undert cover which meant our car did not ice up with the heavy frost in the morning.Aldi was just over the road so we could easily get food for dinner. The provision of crockery and cutlery to prepare food . The provision of dish washing supplies to enable us to wash the dishes we used.

This accommodation suited our needs perfectly. It was walk-in ground floor with an enclosed shower. There was a small wardrobe and side drawers allowing us to spread out. It had a dining table, lounge chair and a desk arrangement for my laptop. We had a jug, toaster, microwave, refrigerator and a cupboard for crockery. The TV worked well and the reverse cycle air conditioner was useful for both heating and cooling during our stay. The motel had outside tables and was close to an excellent restaurant at which we booked for dinner. The room and facilities were very clean and check-in easy.

The curtains were difficult to close. There was no cord to pull to allow them to separate and return. Our room was close to the area where the maids started work and thus a little noisy at times in the morning.

Linda was the perfect host. There was a mix up with our booking which she went over and above to rectify. Provided us with breakfast on both mornings when we elected to stay in the room we were allocated. Room was very comfortable and more than met our needs. Thank you. we would highly recommend

The best country motel I've stayed in. Lovely people running the motel, very friendly and helpful. Room was big and very clean. Bathroom was old style but very clean and a good size. Location was excellent. It's on the main road but couldn't hear any road noise. Would stay there again.

Being picky but would have liked herbal tea as a tea option but had my own so not an issue.

Very spacious room, large bathroom and great facilities. Good location, close to town and Aldi just across the road for supplies. Heating was lovely and warm.

Spa was a little small for 2 people, but perfect for one. Thin walls between rooms and could hear some road traffic. It was tolerable though.

It was a wet freezing cold winter’s night when we stayed. However the room was very warm, bed comfortable etc. You could order breakfast however we did not do this. The room had a micro oven, plates bowls etc. Thid is something you do not always find these days. Staff friendly.

We were initially worried about the traffic noise however that quietened down later in the evening.

Couldn't ask for anything more! The motel room was clean and well appointed. The location was brilliant, being only a short walk from the town centre. Linda, the owner, was lovely. She was very helpful and friendly. It is the only establishment in Young that is pet friendly.
