Kith Hotel Darling Harbour

Location was great, with very easy access to darling harbour only a few min walk away. Harris Street car park just down the road was much cheaper than the carpark across the road from the kith, we were parked there for 48hrs and it was only $69. The staff at the Kith were super lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were small but really nice and super clean. We had to store our suitcases under the bed. There is no gym at the hotel but i found an anytime fitness within walking distance, and no breakfast option but plenty of cafes nearby. We will most definitely be staying here again.

The only issue i had was the room we were in didn't have a curtain for one of the windows (will bring an eye mask next time).

This was an excellent, affordable quick stay option, for an overnight trip from Canberra. I was within quick walking distance to the ICC where my conference was, as well as to restaurants on the harbour for a meal. There is also a small supermarket on the same block any necessities. The rooms are small but well appointed and had everything you need in this nice compact space. Excellent solution for a price sensitive business owner who needs to be in Sydney reguarly. I will definitely be staying here many times over.

Easy thing to fix but you need clear instructions on how to get to the hotel if you get off at the light rail station. Hotel Kith is on the other side of the Novotel carpark and you need to take the carpark lift up to the 4th floor and then do an immediate u-turn up another small flight of stairs to exit at the road level on the opposite side of the carpark. It's really close, which is great when you're towing a suitcase but it was a bit consuming.

The room was smallish yet spacious enough for a night or two. The bed was super comfortable and the room peaceful. The price was good and we liked the location, which is good for walking around Sydney.

Customer service could be stepped up a bit. We were checking out and had arranged to leave our bags for a few hours. We waited quite a while as the staff person fiddled around assisting another guest weighing bags (which was nice), however, ordinarily you'd expect to receive a luggage tag straight away so you can go (rather than watch them fiddling around). Eventually, we had to interrupt as we were late for an appointment.

I got free upgrade to a balcony suite due to cancellations. Gee Gee at the front desk was lovely and the room was beautiful.

The bathroom could have been cleaner behind the toilet, the shower seat and the floor beneath. The bathroom was a disabled accessible bathroom. The shower head works fine when taken off the holder but when placed in doesn’t fit right and falls down at the wrong angle. When placed in the holder at an angle that holds the shower head was at a 90 degree angle and showers the entire bathroom.

The rooms are compact but the layout is very intelligently designed, so I actually found the compact size to be a bonus - everything’s easy to reach, and there’s plenty of room for luggage under the beds, which have been designed to have space for this purpose. There was actually room for my suitcase on the floor anyway. The balcony was awesome, quite spacious. The bed was fantastic to sleep on - supportive with a soft top, the best of both worlds. This hotel makes smart use of technology, I think it even had USB-C charging ports in addition to the usual USB-A. I found the staff to be fantastic and professional, and they’re always thinking of their guests needs. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sydney.

One small thing: As others have mentioned, the design of the shower door makes it easy for water to splash outside of the shower cubicle. But that’s what bath mats are for dealing with :)

It was conveniently located for us, and well priced. The lady who greeted us and checked us in was super personable and nice, and the lady who checked us out was lovely also.

The bed sagged quite badly in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable, and the lights near the door for the lights, air con, and mains power were quite distracting to sleep.

Would highly recommend to all looking for a modern, quiet, clean facility for a short stay convenient to public transport. Value for money in an excellent location. 100m to public transport and virtually on Darling Harbour. Staff were most accommodating and friendly and able to offer insights for anyone unfamiliar with the area. Great service from the manager, Stephen Parker.

Rooms are small (but cleverly designed with space under the bed for luggage).

Bed was super comfortable. Room was clean. Parking was easy across the road. Short walk to Darling Harbour restaurants. Easy walk over the bridge into the city. Highly recommend purely based on location!

The bathroom was see through screens, so there wasn't any privacy (even when using the toilet). The windows couldn't be opened so it was really stuffy. The power went out on the Sunday morning which was very inconvenient as there was no aircon and we couldn't use our appliances needed to get ready for the day. No reimbursement was offered for this.

While the bed was quite luxurious and very comfortable it was high. I'm in my 70s and fortunately agile and healthy, and was able to scramble fairly easily on to it, but for someone with a disability, hip or knee problems, not so fit, it would've been impossible. Not sure what the solution is, would be a shame to lose the lovely big bed....maybe a step stool to give people a boost.

Staff were very helpful and courteous Location excellent for city needs very clean verandah great for relaxing and wish we'd booked our two nights with them as cheaper $$ but not quality bed Q was comfortable also spacious rooms & aircon terrific close to shops & food choices for day & evening 3 Mins away 10/10
