Storey Grange

Everything! The location is gorgeous and convenient - Geoff showed us how to get to the path that overlooks the Blue Mountains just in time for a beautiful sunset. The main room was perfectly set up and the fireplace room was so cozy and warm. Made the Tilly’s last World Cup match easier to bear… And we had the room with the spa, which was the perfect way to relax after a weekend of camping. They provided a little platter for pre dinner snacks, lots of brekky food, and a bottle of Prosecco for us to celebrate our anniversary! So thoughtful and well kept.

The host Geoff built Storey Grange with his own hands which I greatly admire. It is located in a bushy fringe of beautiful Springwood opposite a retirement home at the very end of Lalor Drive, the placard out front might be hard to spot nestled in greenery but after dark the sign is brightly lit so no prob. Storey Grange embraces you in a green world with overhanging trees (but which aren't in your way), profuse plant beds and winding brick paths to your getaway rooms. Geoff upgraded us to a VERY roomy upper suite with gentle forest views. If you need room, ask if this is suite is available, it might cost a bit more. The supplied breakfast catered for our GF needs, the wife cooked two delicious and filling brekkies in the well-equipped kitchenette. Coffee good. WiFi works. Nice supportive bed. Bathroom has a SPA yay! Smick and so clean. Eleven out of ten.

Umm we had a rat in our toilet and dirty dishes from before in the dishwasher, also very strange this morning. Someone left “help” on our door from the outside, it was so strange because it wasn’t there before and we thought maybe someone came over to check on us because the fire alarm went off but no knocked on the door and we were up for another hour, it freaked us out a little

very cute and comfortable studio with a lovely fireplace and spa bath. the location was great, only 5 min drive to Springwood and only 30 mins or so to the nice towns of the blue mountains.

it’s an old place and the cleanliness reflects that. it was clean enough but you can’t get an old place to sparkle.

Storey Grange's location just outside of Springwood on the edge of the surrounding bushland was both lovely and very convenient. Our host was there to great us with a quick tour and some local knowledge, we were then left to take a very pleasant afternoon stroll to start off our stop over. With a delicious breakfast supplied, and all the comforts of home, this was a perfect stay for a couple of days mountain biking the surrounding area.

Relaxing and comfortable - the perfect getaway. Arrived to a warm fireplace with port and chocolates. The spa bath was so spacious and nice! Breakfast and kitchen facilities were great - with all main condiments provided and even a bottle of champagne! There is a nearby little lookout which was nice. Geoff was very friendly and overall a wonderful host.

Could hear some noise from upstairs, woke my hubby up a few times since he was a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me at all! Lighting is a little dim, which is perfect for ambiance, but not so much for reading.

Such a stunning place for a quiet and relaxing, romantic get away. The property is rustic and very charming. We met Geoff who was a very friendly, amazing host. We had the patio room with our own verandah and gorgeous bush outlook. It had a separate sitting room with a fireplace and we thoroughly enjoyed this space. Everything is provided, a cheese platter with bubbly, food for breakfast, port and chocolate. These little touches are very thoughtful. I only wish I had used the amazing spa bath but we didn't have time. We were a fan of poor phone reception, we could really switch off from the world. I think this property shines in winter and we would definitely go back again!

I would have liked the fireplace in the room itself or to know that this was a separate sitting room entirely, however there is nothing else to fault about this venue.

Beautiful rambling gardens. Multiple breakfast options, a surprise cheese platter and wine on arrival. Plus a spa in the lounge suite I booked, a private fire, and heated towels.

Parking for my trailer was an issue, however the hosts guided me to a safe spot to park for the night just across the road. Not really an issue at all!

Open fire was lovely. Bed comfortable, Room cosy & warm. Very private & quite. Everything clean. Stairs to room very steep. Outside patio tired looking. Owners very friendly. Overall good stay.

The separate sitting room with gorgeous antique chairs and a cosy fireplace. A nice area to sit and chat with a sip of Port. The Room was definitely charming, made you feel at home! Lovely atmosphere, the spa bath was lovely too. We met the local possum and he shared our cheese platter. It was a quiet setting with no reception (!) So as to fully help you unwind. There's is a short bush walk track out to the cliffs with a breathtaking view. My partner and I had an amazing time and will be back soon!
