No breakfast location great easy to get to from broadmeadow train station shopping centre close easy to get around staff at pub friendly helpful Camille on phone very helpful couldn't be more helpful room spotless carpet bathrooms clean and afew so no waiting very quiet food great rump steak cooked to perfection female at bistro super friendly stayed in pubs all across NSW from cowra to bega etc but this one is in top 3 if not the best I've stayed at highly recommended

Great value for money room was very clean and wonderful breeze throughput the room. Lunch at the bistro was fantastic and very tasty.

Teabags were stale and coffee pods only available rather just instant had a weird taste but was super impressed that there was peppermint tea as that is what I drink! Just a shame it wasn’t in an individual packet to keep fresh. Bin collection in the middle of the night was loud and seemed to last forever waking everyone but that isn’t something you have any control over!

Location, comfort friendly staff. Bistro food and bar prices and flavours fantastic. Cleanliness great too although toilet Could be been a tad cleaner around the toilet seats especially.

Not much I didn't like but would be good to have a small fridge in the room. And our room was quite small and faced the back of the building. Next time I will ask for one of the bigger rooms facing the street. The small room lamp was lopsided and broken and the Tvs are way out of date so didn't use it at all.

The food is amazing at the tavern & well priced. Nice simple room but enough for what you need. The bed was really comfy (not what I was expecting!) And the shared bathrooms are great - seperate rooms with a toilet & shower - I was expecting a bunch of showers & toilets in 1 room. Fantastic & definitely where I'm staying when I am up that way. And great location - super close to the Newcastle entertainment centre & just off the main road to head back home.

The small amount of parking made it hard to get out when it's busy - was very scared was going to hit a car. Otherwise perfect

The place was nice and the bar had good food. It was a simple room but it had everything we need for an overnight stay. The staff were nice as well 💕

There was some confusion on checking in and some of the bar staff were confused. It would be nice to have some instructions online on how to check in :)

Great location. Also very quiet for above a pub. Close to the Farmers markets. Clean comfortable and great for a night stopover.

No fridge, jug or microwave in room, however there are communal use facilities at the end of the hall near after hours entry and exit. Staff from hotel will give ice bucket if needed.

Close to the football stadium.

Bed covers where stained. Shower head was out of the wall. Bathroom needs a revamp! No jug in room to make a coffee and then we seen a little kitchenette on departure. A note in the room would of been great telling us about this.

Staff are so nice. Facilities a little basic ( no fridge in room or laundry facilities) but its comfortable and no rubbish damage deposits and could not be cleaner

I think a fridge in the room and access to a washing machine would make it a 10/10.

Very central. Clean and tidy and comfortable

Our turkish bread on the steak sandwich was stale and un toasted. But would stay there again as I'm in the industry and realised there was 175 people booked in for dinner that night. Mistakes happen.

Food was good and value for money. Ideal location and easy to access. premises were clean. Staff were Helpful. Quite peaceful surrounds Off street parking.

The shared bathroom needed a few minor repairs.
