Owners were very friendly and the unit had everything we needed so that it was easy to cook and do washing without any hassles. Unit looked recently renovated and was extremely clean. Provision of all the little things such as clothes pegs, washing baskets and a clothes airer made life much easier when travelling with little kids.

Hot water system wasted huge amounts of water to get hot water to shower and then would suddenly go cold mid way through the shower and take a long time to heat up again.

We have stayed multiple times in Merimbula, this is the first time in fishpen area. Well located compared to many other places. Getting in and out of place was easy. Nice flat walk to town, even closer walk to main beach. The apartment was clean. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

The hot water setup wastes a lot of water. Coming from somewhere that water is very precious like a lot of Australia, seeing that wasted water as we waited for the hot water to come through was hard to watch. Unfortunately the designated smoking area at back of property blew through any open doors throughout the rooms.

Most things were great. Apartment, clean well appointed, outside dining area great, solar heated pool, netflix, HD tv. Secure storage shed for our two pushbikes was great.

The hot water service is totally inefficient due to the time (3-5 minutes) to receive hot water and the wastage of running cold water before the hot 'kicks in' for hand washing and showering. Parking for units 6-9 inclusive down the main entry driveway is very tight (hard against timber fence) and a bit noisy with cars driving down past these units at night & early morning.

Loved staying at Kalindo. The room was very clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. We stayed for 9 days. The location is great. We could easily walk to the shops. It`s very close to the beach. There is a great fish and chips shop and a lovely cafe just down the street. Alan and Carol made us feel at home, they are great hosts !!

The overall experience was exceptional from start to finish, the host Alan and Carol go far and beyond to make the stay a great and memorable one. The location, the unit and facilities are excellent and Alan made sure we had somewhere to park our small boat and after a day on the lake. Alan and his wife made sure we had somewhere to park the boat to wash it. The units are very clean and everything you need to have a great getaway, and we was in merimbula when it was wet and windy when the whole east coast was experiencing the biggest ocean swells in 50years and we still had a great time. We have now found a little gem and it will now be our go to place on our trips from Sydney to Merimbula.

Nothing to dislike

Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place was well looked after and facilities were all very close together which gave it a nice feel. Have booked to go back next year!

Hot water. Took about 10 minutes for hot water to come on in shower and when it did you didn't get long before it went cold again.

The whole experience from start to finish, was excellent. Manager's Alan and Carol are the nicest hosts you could wish for , going beyond to make the stay a great experience. Excellent location, everything in the units you need and most importantly very clean. Alan even organised a place to park the boat and after a great day on the lake he even organised a place to wash the boat and a hose to do it with, he even took time to have a chat about the area and fishing.

Nothing in this establishment not to like 11 out of 10 thumbs up.

Location close to lake and beach cafe on the corner lovely walks . Bed was so comfortable nice a quiet unit everything you need and it was so clean can’t fault anything it was value for money.

Nothing everything was great

Units were well equipped, courtyard was excellent for our family to eat outside. Kids loved the pool. Beds were comfortable and large bedrooms were spacious. Fishpen location was great!

Units were small other than bedrooms, but we spent all our time outside so not an issue! Everything was a little worn, but well maintained.

Exceptionally clean, everything you need is provided plus some extras. Great location. Washing machines free. Owners are lovely.

The only thing was probably the parking...it is very tight along the side fence. Ok for units 1 to 4.
