Links House Hotel

Well styled. Good parking. Nice decor. Friendly receptionist. Great chef. Complimentary soft drinks. Choice of pillows. Nice linen.

Very noisy. The corridor could do with some carpet so that the echoey noise from footsteps and luggage with wheels is absorbed better. Serving staff on breakfast not helpful. Brought cereal but no spoon. Forgot to bring coffee. Beds a little too soft (I’ve stayed in room 10 and room 11). Would be good to have USB socket to charge phones. Need flyscreen on the window so I can open the window. TV difficult to work and the in-house booklet didn’t give instructions.

We had a magical stay at Links Hotel and definitely intend to go back. The location is fantastic, very close to the heart of Bowral but far enough away that makes you feel like you're in complete countryside. We stayed in the Garden Cottage which was very charming and cosy. The roaring fire and cozy lounges with a bar and old world feel of the hotel made for a memorable stay. The cooked breakfast in the elegant dining room was excellent. However, the thing that really made the stay was the amazing staff all of whom were so enthusiastic, happy, positive and welcoming that created a unique vibe. While staying at the hotel I highly recommend booking the hotel restaurant, Ethos. The food was outstanding and our waiters Michael and Ross were incredible. I was in awe of the way Michael made everyone in the restaurant feel so included and welcome and created such a nice vibe that everyone went out feeling so connected and their spirits lifted. Prior to going I read the reviews that kept mentioning Michael and I was intrigued as it is not something you often see. But I have never met a more gifted waiter and human being so my husband and I feel blessed having had that experience. Thanks Links Hotel. We will definitely be back!

The staff are all top-notch, absolutely wonderful - very professional and lovely to talk to. The restaurant also definitely deserves its fine reputation (for both dinner and breakfast). There is a lovely sitting room with a well-equipped bar. The gardens are beautiful, and the place is so quiet, no traffic noise - very little noise at all in fact. The bed was extremely comfortable and after a couple of the excellent house cocktails we had a great night's sleep!

This isn't really a 'didn't like' - the rooms are very spartan and the bathrooms very small, but that is in keeping with the history and the 1920s travelling experience and I would say that it is in perfect keeping with the original style. It is all very comfortable and I have to say I was impressed with the incredibly efficient use of space in the bathroom. My only minor quibble was that there were no cups for tea or coffee in the room (it did have tea making facilities), but we had a beautiful cup of tea with breakfast so we didn't miss out.

Lovely smaller hotel with lots of really nice touches, including free non alcoholic drinks in the fridge. The staff are really lovely and make you feel welcome. The breakfast that was included was fantastic and loved our dinner at the restaurant. Great having bar and restaurant so didn’t need to leave the hotel, especially during miserable weather. Lots of outdoor areas to sit during nice weather.

First time staying somewhere that had no TV in room so that was different. They did offer an IPad as an alternative but harder to watch that together.

Links House Guesthouse is a beautiful Art Deco Hotel that is tastefully decorated with gorgeous quaint guestrooms. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. There is a lovely outside garden area and the front of the property overlooks the Bowral Golf course. It has a very peaceful and serene vibe with all of the greenery and the beautiful birdlife that you see and hear. The restaurant is great and the food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Michael Ferguson was exceptional, he made our stay fun and relaxing. He has knowledge of the local area and was very helpful with letting us know things to do in and around the town. I loved our stay at the Links and would love to return in the future.

The only minor thing we didn't like was that the TV could have been put in the bedroom area instead of the very small sitting area.

Beautiful preserved home, with just the right amount of refurbishments to keep its natural charm. Love the aesthetic throughout. Gardens and courtyard have the classic homestead touch. Perfect location close to town. The breakfast included in our stay was also fantastic. Tracey and her team are absolutely wonderful people that will go out of their way to ensure everything is catered for as they really care for their guests. They really do need more recognition for the work they put in. We would come back just for the company!

We came up from Canberra as my sister was getting married in Berrima. I called the staff after I made the booking asking if it was possible to get an early check in (around 12pm) as my partner and I had to get 5 kids and ourselves for the wedding. They had no problems and allowed us to be booked in early. staff were amazing and lovely, and the breakfast that was included was perfect. unfortunately I didn’t take any photos but the hotel was in a beautiful area and had everything we needed.

I don’t know if this can be fixed but I assume as the rooms were connected when you have both showers going it takes the water from the other one. one of my kids is was in the shower in the other room and I was in the shower in my room. when the child finished in their shower and turned the water off, I ended up being scolded by my shower as obviously he hot water all came back to mine and I had no idea. otherwise we had no other issues

The service was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and helped to make the stay a pleasant experience. We had dinner in the on site restaurant and the food was excellent. Links House is a lovely place to stay.

Strangely, room service made the bed and replaced the bottled water but didn't replace our used cups or glasses. While the bathroom was tiny but serviceable, the door latch mechanism stuck out from the door jam just enough to scratch you or catch your clothes.

The staff at Links House were exceptional, going out of their way to accommodate our needs. The accommodation is charming, and the restaurant serves some exceptional food. The gardens were a delight to walk around and explore and we loved the little souvenirs available to be bought.

While it was pretty tasty, there was only one breakfast choice available. Those with dietary requirements may need to warn kitchen staff ahead of time.

The staff at Links house were absolutely exceptional. They are so warm, inviting and interesting as people who you can tell adore living in the area. There is such beautiful attention to detail in the decor and design and the garden and each spot is designed for you to sit and look around peacefully with a coffee or a glass of wine. The hosts of the restaurant each day were divine as well as the food. The rooms are exquisite as well as cosy and very private which would suit a getaway anytime of the year. I cannot recommend this stunner enough 😘

Absolutely nothing was unlikeable. You would have to be a monster with coal for a heart to not like this place
