Hanoi Ecogreen Hostel

The budget hostel is perfectly located in the old part of town (it was still surprisingly quiet in terms of traffic, etc.). Everything is easily accessible on foot. The rooms are quite basic, but everything you need is available (including a small closet for locking valuables). Also of particular note is the tireless help and advice from Lisa, the owner, and the receptionist. If you have any questions about Hanoi, Vietnam, or anything else, she is on hand with help and advice.

In fact, there isn't really anything to complain about. As far as possible, they try to ensure that our guests have a good stay.

The host here is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and attentive; a very helpful host. She was patient with me when I needed to grab more cash to pay for my stay and even helped arrange a private car (nice!) for me to the airport. The shared dorm room is adequately priced and it was never too warm at night as each bed has its own fan. The location is great as well.

Nothing stood out that I did not like.

everything about the place was great ! the location was near to all the major attractions. Atm , restaurant, everything was available nearby . The rooms were clean , as per the price it’s value for money . Lucy our host , was very welcoming and nice . she helped us with the halong bay trip which was amazing!!! It’s recommended. Ac was working fine . Bathroom clean ! I liked everything about the place , will go there again :))

Second stay at ecogreen. Hostel. Manager is great! Seamless organisation and very caring. Recommend for 1-3 night stay to look around Hanoi. Bubbly manager will help you with any buses, grab rides, Sims etc. All for an honest price and with a smile on her face.

Nothing

The staff was helpful and friendly, the bed quite soft (for asia, so still firm). Had a really good sleep here. Also the location is perfect. Walking distance from the lake, trainstreet and beerstreet.

Room looked a bit old and was cramped due to too many things put in a not too big space.

I stayed for 3 nights at the Eco Green in a private room with a balcony over looking the street! The value for the room and the location in the old town were spot on! Ms. Lisa was my favorite as she greeted me everyday with a warm smile and made sure my room and stay was awesome!! I recommend staying here for the value and location!!

Location is good but I didn't stay in the hostel I booked, they moved me to another one because the aircon wasn't working. This jade hostel was nice, staff is so kind but beds are so hard, wifi is good.

Mattress is hard

Lisa, the host, is an amazing, generous person who will always help you if needed. The rooms are very good. The hotel is very well located, in the old Hanoi. I really recommend .

Good location: it is in the old quarter area and almost everything you need to see in Hanoi is in 10-30 minutes walk from there. Staff: they are very friendly and helpful; arranged the tours and transportation for me with reasonable prices.

The staff is so nice, i was the only woman in the dormitory and they actually checked up on me at night to see if i was ok ;) so thoughtful, even though and I was perfectly fine ! Also super helpful to order a bus !

My fan wasn't working but the room was quite fresh at night though.
