Super 8 by Wyndham Powell

Due to COVID precautions there were pastries set out by the lobby and you could get your own coffee from a pump canister. You also had your own coffee maker in your room. There were different liquid creamers set out some even with flavours and all of the desired colourful sweetners. Rooms had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Bathroom had a good shower and all the things you needed, shampoo, soap, facial cleanser, enough towels and washcloths. If you needed anything more you would get it in a jiffy. Very convenient spot after a long day of exploring. There are also other eateries around. A Pizza Hut next door. A few grocery stores or a Walmart in Cody. Staff was super nice and accommodating. They even informed us that we had left something behind. It is a little hike to Yellowstone, but there are some backroads that are worth exploring where you are rewarded with seeing wildlife. It is not a super fancy place, but it was clean and had everything that we needed. There are some cute touches in the room. Only bad thing is that you can hear everything. If you are downstairs, you can hear the occupants walking upstairs, even if they do not have a heavy gait.

Do not know what to do about thin walls or people walking at a heavy gait.

The man at the front desk was very kind and helpful to let me check in early so I could get ready for the event I was going to. I appreciated that.

Everything was fine, the price was budget friendly and I needed that.

This motel is on the main route through Powell and easy to find. It's located between a Pizza Hut and a Marverik convenience store so one didn't have to go far for anything. The clerk was very helpful and gave us a ground floor room when we requested it. The manager was cleaning up outside the motel when we left but he asked us if we wanted a receipt and prepared one for us. Although signage indicated that there was to be no breakfast available at the motel, we did find coffee, fruit and bakery items availble in the morning. My wife said that this room had the cleanest and brightest bathroom she had ever seen in a motel.

The check-in clerk ws not as knowledgeable about the town as I would have expected. We heard every conversation of every guest who walked down the hallway.

The bed was comfortable, had a frig and microwave, and the continental breakfast. The hotel was pet friendly.

No swimming pool.

No breakfast was available. Other places have figured out individual helpings. Something to grab and go would be helpful.

Put in a couple of vending machines,more varieties of coffee creamers.

It was clean, the check in was easy and staff was nice.

Nothing, it was fine and an easy stay. Good value.

nothing housekeeping is wonderful and she is so nice and Reseptionist are understanding.

Could not have breakfast due to the pandemic. The location was easy to find.

Our room was on the side right next to a convenience store and it was pretty noisy. Also, there were children in the hotel which ran up and down the halls.
