Newly Renovated-Hampton Inn & Suites Casper

Location, breakfast provided, and being quiet on the 4th floor.

Showerpan squeaking in room 404. Very annoying especially since this room was renovated. Also, the rust at the bottom of the shower door made us think the shower door was not new. Looking at my bill, was surprised to see I was not charged the same rate for the 4 days. The rate varied by day...I was not made aware of this when making the Reservation. Was confused about having to use Booking.com for the reservation, as I thought I was booking directly with the Hampton Inn. The fees for this service were not transparent.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Remodel was great, everything was very clean. Breakfast was good. I came in near midnight after a long day of driving and the lady at the front desk (Johanna? I think?) was very kind and helpful. As a solo traveler, and a woman, I felt very safe here. Main doors lock at 11 and you need a room key to get in. Good location convenient to town and the highway. Little touches like the hand sanitizer pumps all over, actually having a good amount shampoo soap etc., and the ride on horses for the kids were big thumbs up. Highly recommend this place!

I liked: the ease of check in, the rooms are comfortable, lots of pillows, plenty of room, exceptional breakfast staff, great breakfast (eggs tasted like eggs and not powdered)

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and lobby area was big and comfortable. I liked that they had board games and other stuff for kids to use. Fitness area was nice, I enjoyed using the Peloton bike that was available there, good choice!

The pool was too cold for my kids and I to use. I hope the pool is next in the renovation list.

The hotel renovation/remodel was completed a couple of months before our visit (Aug 2023) and it’s not recognisable from the old photos. Much nicer. There is a new Peloton in the gym, the lobby is light and welcoming, even the pool has had a glow up. Friendly and helpful staff - sorted out an extra bed for our room within a few minutes.

It was exceptionally clean! I’m a clean freak so this is a big deal to me lol. The beds were comfy and the front desk gal, Alexis, was SOO helpful when we needed anything. We needed an extra night stay and she was able to accommodate that for us greatly at the same rate we had for the other nights!

Maybe location, it was away from everything we went to (mall, Olive Garden, etc.) but the drive thru town was only 10-15 mins unless we hit high traffic so 15-20 mins at most which isn’t a problem for us!!

The room we were given at first had a terrible smell like fresh paint. The front desk gave us the chance to change it and therein we started enjoying the Hotel which, by the way, is pretty new. We enjoyed the main hall and its facilities. Our second room was clean and renewed. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was SUPERB. Park was included.

The TV doesn’t have mobile mirroring services to see Netflix, Prime, Disney +. Noisy air conditioner.

The median into the hotel entrance is a BIG problem. I ran over the median - as has a number of others. I wrote to the City of Casper about this problem. Need to put posts up so that the location of the median is apparent and people will not turn too soon to enter the driveway into the hotel. I hope they've done this! Cars could be damaged going over the median.

Comfortable, good price, fridge and microwave in room, quiet, nice breakfast. Just note that they are remodeling, they are doing a good job to minimize dust and noise travel through the hotel. Free parking and safe parking. Not too far from Casper College and the geological and dinosaur museum on campus, my main destination.

Friendly and attentive staff. Well rounded breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. Easy access from the Interstate and to/from other amenities in the area.

I cannot think of any negative things to say about our stay. It was only one night. We arrived early evening and departed early the next morning. No issues.
