Beautiful, Convenient, Wonderful Staff! Great bed and bedding and terrific shower head!

Nobody explained the daily $25 destination charge, not the agent who checked us in, not the Concierge staff, and not the Booking.com site. I thought it was like a local luxury tariff — until it was too late to use. Shame on Marriott — and maybe on Booking.com! Our room was a little wanting considering the price. The refrigerator was useless — it could only stay on for 2 hrs at a time and then needed to be restarted. That meant we had to get lots of ice and turn it into an ice chest to store medication that needed refrigeration!! Pretty useless system! Next, though it didn’t hurt our stay in the least, the headboard was actually peeling. Creepy!

The gym was one of the top gyms we've ever been to in a hotel/resort environment. We travel at least a few times a month and we both were highly impressed with the two floor gym! Also, the staff was incredible. The front desk, the security, housekeeping and the food delivery people,....LOVED the location in proximity to great restaurants and all the sites to see.

Everything was actually great and a wonderful experience. Would have loved a bigger room that didn't kill the bank but was enough room....would like room service to stay open to midnight. We tried ordering at 10:40pm after returning from a night time tour and no one would answer. Thank goodness we had access to the M Lounge to grab some snacks but we were still hungry.

It was located near the Washington Convention Center. The VALET & BAR-RESTAURANT staff were courteous & professional.

The main reason for staying, the indoor connector from the hotel to the convention center, is closed until sometime next year. The bathroom door in my room was full of dust! Front Desk staff were inattentive & unprofessional. One lady was talking on her personal cell phone while attempting to check-out guests. Other Front Desk staff stood &/or walked around aimlessly while 10 guests waited to check-in, which is unacceptable. There’s no patio, balcony or rooftop garden/lounge in “the largest hotel in Washington, DC”.

I stay here every year for Awesome Con. Perfect location, the staff is super friendly and professional, I felt safe walking around. The room was comfortable and clean. I wish the would open that tunnel to the convention center for events like Awesome Con.

Every year I'm disappointed that the tunnel isn't open to access the convention.

Location and Cleanliness.

The Hotel is a walking distance to some places you want to see in DC. A block away from a Shopping Center that has the Luxury stores like LOUIS VUITTON , BVLGARY , CHRISTIAN DIOR , GUCCI and others stores. A good Steakhouse, Italian Restaurant,bars and other restaurants. The only thing we did care for are the Homeless Tents across the street that makes you uncomfortable and feeling unsafe to walk around and come home at night . They can also do more on the trash outside the hotel. Overall we enjoy our stay .

Close to town but with great grocery shopping facilities close by.

I had a bit of an argument about having money put on visa hold for hotel snacks and drinks when there were not any in the rooms and for internet use when rooms were meant to get internet for free, unless you paid for more speedy internet which you had to pay for before you used it anyway.

Design of the entire building, particularly lobby/open area architecture. Bistro had great meal options; centrally located for other options and sights. Housekeeping staff/ladies were accommodating!

Not enough toiletries (no complimentary toothbrush/paste), and coffee_tea machine in room missing parts.

It was clean, easy to navigate, and any time I needed help the staff were available and extremely friendly.

Our room is a little dirty but nothing too bad. There was just a little rust on the sink counter but that was all. Everything else was great!

Room was very nice. I especially liked how we were cared for when we arrived late and tired. Front desk employees were so nice, kind and professional.....so were the valet guy and the guy who took our luggage up to the room.

What I did not like was dealing with booking .com. I tried to cancel my reservation, to see in big bold print.....you can not cancel this reservation!! Normally if you reserve a room and get a better rate, you may be told up front that you are not allowed to cancel....but that was not the case. I did not received a special discount.
