Glover Park Hotel Georgetown

Nice clean rooms, it was very convenient to have a restaurant on the premises. The beds were very nice! no charge for parking either!

There was no hot water in the sink faucet at all, had to use a shower to get some hot water.

Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and with an excellent view of the Washington DC skyline. We loved the amenities such as the free snacks and complementary beverages available both in the lobby and on our floor. The beds were very comfortable and the furnishings and outlets were thoughtfully arranged so that there were ample places to plug in our phones and computers, the front desk staff was efficient and polite. Although a bit pricey, there was parking right underneath the hotel, which was extremely convenient. 

Everything was great. We are coming back to DC in October and have already booked the same room.

My daughter absolutely loved the room. We would go out and she’ll want us to go back to the room. She loved all the lighting and comfortable bed with nice soft pillows. the bathroom was very clean. The staff was amazing and super accommodating. Workers in the restaurant/bar were also very nice. We also loved that parking was in a safe space. Lastly, it was very helpful to have a kitchenette in our room! That was also one of our favorite part! We definitely will be staying here again in future! :)

Our only complaint will be that our room needed to be cleaned just a little bit better. My daughter was playing on the floor and found a toddler gram cracker and almost out it in her mouth. Under the beds don’t seem to have ever been swept/cleaned.

Location, location, location. Across the street van bus 33 which takes you down to the White House. Walking distance to the Circular buses which take you to Union Station. Georgetown great atmosphere. Whole Paycheck, i mean Whole Foods, is a 5 minute walk. Trader Joe's is 10 minutes with normal prices. National Cathedral is 10-15 minute walk up the hill, turn right as you come out of the drive. Very helpful staff. Safe neighborhood. Quick response to hot water pressure problem.

Hot water pressure very low, quickly fixed. Lack of writing pad, pen. Lamp next to bed was flickering, forgot to tell reception. Room cleaned every two days; I emptied the trash everyday.

I appreciated having a pleasant, well lit (as in sunlit) room. I had specifically asked not to look out at an air shaft (which I had to do at a Marriott). The neighborhood was lovely, and convenient for all my business activities, the hotel was blessedly quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Slightly lower parking rates would have been nice, since the Watergate across from the Kennedy Center has parking for about $27./ night. I could have found other parking or explored street parking, but went with your parking to make things less complicated for myself.

The front desk staff were excellent. The rooms were wonderful in every way. The beds super comfortable as well as the pillows. The towels so thick and absorbent The location was very good. The food delicious.

Breakfast service left something to be desired. We had to ask twice for coffee and when they did bring it they only gave us half a cup. The attention of the diningroom staff at breakfast was lacking. The dining room barely had 3 tables. Also our keys didn't work all the time in the elevators. It would of been nice if the curtain in the room would of covered the window entirely. There was light shining in the room all night.

I love the location and hotel but the parking sucked the parking garage is so tiny I really thought my SUV wouldn't fit and then you have so many turns and they are small and a brick wall right there. I was really scared of hitting the brick wall or pole in the garage.And for $53 for parking. Yeah wasn't pleased with parking at all.

Parking garage suckedddddd it needs to be bigger. And they tried to charge for bottle of water after they said it was free.

The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable! The location was great for us and we had great views of DC from the room on the 5th floor. Whole Foods and other food options are walking distance - and we liked being Rock Creek park for walks (the hotel is pet friendly). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. For instance there was no more room in the garage when we arrived later and the staff helped us out.

The garage stay is a bit expensive so we tried to park outside when we could as it was the weekend.

Room was spaceous, clean, with kichenette. Mattress was firm (which we liked a lot) Lots of storage space. Gym open 24hr and very good equipement. Restaurant in the lobby was convinient, however, we did not eat so can not rate it. Parking avalable for additional cost. Street parking available but subject to rules and parking regulations. Staff was friendly.

Location is in Georgetown, but not realy close to anything. Far from museums and monuments. But it is quiet neighborhood and there are buses conecting to downtown.
