Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wytheville, an IHG Hotel

Excellent breakfast. Vegetarian omlette, tasty sausages, fresh potatoes. Better than usual. Excellent bed. Very clean facility.

We stayed in a room on a freshly renovated floor, and were impressed with the renovations in furnishings and decor. However, the room had not a single installed USB charger either at the desk or the bedside tables. For anyone who travels with several pieces of technology that need daily recharging (mobile phones, tablets, digital watches, hearing aids, etc.), carrying (or arriving without) numerous charging bricks designed for standard wall plugs is an inconvenience that will only become more irritating with the passage of time.

After Booking my room I was offered a upgraded room for a $5.67 extra charge. Of course, days before my arrival the money for the upgrade was immediately charged to my credit card. When I arrived at the hotel room I did not have an upgraded room. When I called the front desk they said no upgraded available and did not know anything about an upgrade. They said I would have to take it up with booking.com. I promise I will never use your "Service" again. I will book hotel rooms from the hotels reservation desk.

Breakfast was very nice,location was great

Thought I would be given a break on the price 1 for being a senior 2 for being a vet 3 for having stayed five nights in defuiack springs and being a member actually my wife Nancy in the rewards program,no one one asked me if I or if we were members to and from Florida and the week we stayed at holiday express.

Beds were very nice and the property was clean. I liked the decor in the entry way. The cinnamon rolls were fabulous and the options for breakfast were good. The sausages needed to be cooked until outside layer was brown.

The sausage for breakfast had a slimy coating. Grossed me out.

Comfortable and large room, friendly staff

We booked late and we’re placed in a handicap room. The shower needs a drain inside the shower instead of the bathroom floor- water was everywhere. The breakfast room was right across from our room and we could hear a lot going on. Not a very quiet room.

The breakfast was excellent, with many selections. The cheese omelets, sausage, potatoes, & coffee was good. The sitting area was nice.

It would be nice if an attendant wiped off the tables regularly. There were spills and food on ours.

The hotel position was great, off the beaten path , very quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast exceeded expectations, good waffles, sausage gravy and biscuits along with other staples. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and well organized for social distancing. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a good shower before moving on to our next stay. We were able to avoid the coming ice storm. The hotel was located within easy driving distance of several restaurants. It was a great evening.

The staff were all very friendly especially the front desk woman who checked us in. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. Pool is open till midnight so the kids loved that! The breakfast staff were also great!

It is a little pricey, we rescheduled our vacation days in order to stay here on a Sunday night instead of Saturday on our way home because of the outrageous price on the weekend.

Right off I-77/I-81. Comfortable and clean room. Good selection of options for breakfast.

Tried to check in 2 hours early but they could not accommodate because short staffed.
