Hampton Inn Norfolk/Chesapeake - Greenbrier Area

Breakfast was good. Location was ideal for my needs. Desk clerk, Bryan was very helpful in answering my questions and went above my expectations to assist me with a minor problem. The Friday, 7/21, night clerk was very helpful as well but I don't remember her name.

There was a small amount of mildew on the caulking around the bathtub ledge. I also thought there should have been two separate clothes hanging bars in the wardrobe closet. These are minor details but I believe they're note worthy. I also thought the price was a bit high, but I haven't stayed in a hotel in a few years.

Hampton inn Norfolk/Chesapeake Greenbrier area a great hotel to stay 20 minutes from the beach great price clean 10 silence 10 great service the receptionist kj very attentive and polite not to mention the cleaning lady Jenifer who besides being attentive has a great sense of humor I will definitely be back to stay here again.thank you to all the hotel employees.

Breakfast buffet was always full and fresh. Karen took great care and made sure all the guests were greeted, had clean tables, cleared dishes. Very warm and friendly. In fact, all staff were like that! I've never stayed anywhere where all staff were so accommodating.

My room upon arrival smelled like cat pee. The man at the front desk apologized and gave us another room. I was happy with his quick resolve!

The location was convenient for the event I attended. I enjoyed the breakfast and cookies in the evening. The rate was pretty reasonable.

I didn’t know that the property was pet-friendly until after I got there. I definitely would not have picked it otherwise. I have had a bad experience with pet-friendly hotels in the past.

Location, breakfast, Cleanliness & most of Staff was very helpful and Courteous ..

Even though you’ve arrived early and told you can’t check in until 3pm, it would be so helpful if someone would tell You with Reservations at the site, leave your number and I’ll let You know if anything is available earlier.. You’ve got people checking out earlier than 11am and you can get rooms ready earlier for check in, it would help.. After Driving all Nite and arriving at site around 9 or 10, it would be good if staff would be a little more considerate if something becomes available earlier..

We stayed there because it was within 10 miles of our son and family and close to connecting roadways and stores if needed. Great location. The staff was friendly. The room was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast offering was nice, considering restrictions due to COVID-19.

Like most hotels, the air conditioning unit was loud. Also, the vent in the bathroom removed zero steam while showering. I mentioned this at the front desk and they immediately offered to send someone up to fix it.

The room was good. Staff was pleasant. Way to expensive for location. I traveled on to Jacksonville N.C. The Hampton wanted to charge $180.00 per not. Stayed at Fairfield Inn for $118 per night for comparable accommodations. Will not use Hampton Inn again.

Price was way above comparable hotel. The Hampton at the Naval base in Norfolk quoted $200 per night. In Chesapeake Va it was $140 for 6 miles difference. Ripoff. Will not stay at a Hampton on my next trip in December

From check in to check out the stay was excellent! very quiet which is always a plus for me.. the breakfast was nice and hot, not as many choices as I'm used to from Hampton but considering everyone elese is serving bags as "breakfast I was very satisfied " the location was right where I needed to be and lots of things close by

The pillows were a little too soft for me and the hidden entrance threw me off a couple of times

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room and this establishment as a whole, is very clean and organized. Housekeeping and front desk staff were very polite and friendly....made our stay even better. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice property; clean! Nine people! Becca, who cleaned our room was very nice! Pool was clean. Glad I could control room temperature. Only con was housekeeping has the be requested early morning for them to clean room; but not huge deal! Hot breakfast in the am; pool Open until 10pm. Overall enjoyed my stay!

Nothing major; just housekeeping needs to be requested ahead of time.
