The location was great! The room was small, but clean. The staff were very friendly.

The room was small. The AC was horrible, it was so loud it sounded like a truck was idling. There was no cleaning service unless you requested it, so the towels weren’t changed. You have to ask for more coffee pods. There is no parking available, there is street parking, however if you park overnight you have to get up in the morning and move the car or feed the meter. It’s not ideal!

Like the old historic building. Good location to walk to local attractions. Room was comfortable and clean.

Our room faced the back parking lot which is public. Very noisy crowd and traffic noise 1-3 am in the parking lot. Honking and car alarms were as annoying as the loud yelling and screaming from Friday night activities.

Steam Punk galore! This is a fun hotel. Our room wasn’t huge but was comfortable and well arranged. The bathroom was on the small side but cute and clean. Also there’s comfortable and inviting common space downstairs. Staff (Lucy in particular) was exceptionally helpful, and the adjacent restaurant served yummy food. Their staff was also excellent. It’s situated downtown in a walkable area.

Perfect location for our needs. We were happily surprised at the size of our room and loved the restaurant, Eggsburgh, connected to the hotel. We ate breakfast there everyday during our stay. Returning next year for the Kilby Block Party music festival and already reserved our room.

This is a historic hotel and as such has slightly smaller rooms. With that in mind this is one of the best places we've stayed in SLC. Has incredible charm, it's well appointed, the rooms are perfectly comfortable and recently updated with modern furnishings and very nice beds. We love the character and charm of this place and the proximity to restaurants, public transportation, and the downtown area.

Hard to complain at all really. Parking is limited at this location. Street parking is quite close but this city charges quite a hefty fee (15$) for the pleasure. We'll be looking to book again when we're staying in, or passing through SLC the next time around.

Convenient location (just 1 block south of the Salt Palace convention center and 1 block west of Gallivan Plaza). The art deco styling and well-kept facilities made it interesting and fun. The adjacent breakfast/brunch restaurant was delicious and close.

The price is a bit high for a basic room. Parking is in the public parking lot outside and behind the hotel ($25 for 24h).

there seemed to be only one person on staff which I found odd for a decent sized small hotel. we requested a toothbrush and has to walk down to the front desk to get it instead of having it delivered.

I loved the beautiful decor and 1920’s Art Deco vibe of the place. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet.

The bathroom in our room was small, but that isn’t a big deal. The bathroom in my sister’s room was very spacious- I think it is just that it is an older hotel, it has quirks!

We loved the design and history of the hotel. It was very clean, we constantly saw staff out cleaning something! The staff was super friendly and accommodating!

The parking situation wasn't great. Had to pay $60 just to park for the weekend. Also the blankets on the bed are not very warm. It's really just a light sheet and like a thin fleece blanket. So I'd recommend bringing your own if you can.
