Holiday Inn Express & Suites Price, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast so-so. Probably not bad for free hotel, comparing to restaurant breakfasts. Location fine.

Expected when booking 2 rooms to get 2 rooms rather than one long room with nominal dividers. Offset somewhat by the room being comfortable and quiet. If floor plans or pictures were available when booking, I would have instead gotten two of the smallest rooms.

Right off the freeway, near restaurants, clean, shower had hand held shower head, well lit parking.

There was only 1 hook for towel and hand towel and it was across the bathroom on the door.

The room and building were clean and comfortable.

Day one breakfast was great. Next day there were no eggs. Just bacon.sausage, and gravy and biscuits and pancakes. Good but not ok if you are diabetic. The tap in the shower was to tight. Then you couldn't shut it off. We did report it as we left.

The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. We used the sofa bed for our granddaughter and she said it was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and offered hot and cold food and beverages. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Holiday Inn Express & Suites, an IHG Hotel!

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was excellent (strong and hot). The towels were good quality. Lots of USB charing ports at multiple points in the room. Good lighting. Good breakfast options.

The only cover (except the sheet) was ridiculously heavy. The heat outside was 90-100, so we needed the AC, so sleeping with no cover at all was not comfortable. We had to remove the duvet from the cover and use the cover alone on top of the sheet. The wifi connected OK, but was relatively slow. The room decoration was rather spartan.

The property was “hidden” behind a regular Holiday Inn which was a bit confusing but once we arrived at the right place, it was quite pleasant. Room was spacious, beds comfy, and they had a lounge chair which I enjoyed. Breakfast was great, and the woman working to keep things supplied was super friendly and helpful. They had a Keurig in the room.

When we entered with our luggage in a cart, there were lots of boxes in the hallway making it a bit difficult to navigate. They must have just received a supply shipment. The floor of the elevator and right outside the elevator were dirty for the first 24 hours.

Location, quick check-in and out. Our jobs went faster than expected so it was great to cancel the 2nd night stay.

Put us right by the lobby and it was a bit noisy especially before 6 am with music playing. Juice machine was out of order so all there was to drink was water or coffee.

Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I loved that they had firm and soft pillows in the King room and that they were labeled on the pillowcase.

The king-sized bed was very firm. It’s great if you like a very firm mattress and not so great if you don’t. For me and my spouse, not a good nights rest because of that fact.

The check in staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

I know covid has changed a lot of procedures, but breakfast was a disappointment. I specifically choose this hotel because of the hot breakfast. There were 2 choices of premade biscuits, yogurt, and some Nutrigrain bars. They may have had a little more, but it wasn’t the hot breakfast that I thought I was paying for, that I also received 2 days earlier at another holiday inn express.

We had a problem with a non functioning TV remote. It took several attempts to get the issue resolved which was annoying.
