Best Western Plus Waller Hotel

My main concern was perfumed laundry products, I can't sleep on sheets with it. I called and asked and was told you would not notice it. That was true, and I am very sensitive to it. But there was a fragrance when we first came in the door, subtle, like cinnamon type smell, could have been from some of the washing items in the bath. But overall not a concern.

they placed a $14.01 incidental charge on my bill and it took several days for it to come off, after calling 3 times I noticed it finally came off, but not as a refund to my card, the original charge just dropped, so it was a bit hard to observe it had cleared.

It was a great hotel. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty and good. Plus, the staff was so very friendly. It was a very good value for the money and I would absolutely stay there again.

It was central and just off the highway. There were lots of travellers and truckers around. I prefer less people but there was probably so many people because it was such a great location.

I highly suggest this hotel. Room was very clean. All the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good too. I had to travel from FL to Houston and I stayed halfway to Round top in this Hotel. I highly suggest this option for those that cannot find anything close to the event. Price was very reasonable too. After a long day, you want to sleep good and take a good shower! Love this place. Also, very safe!

the room was really nice and cold when we arrived. front desk staff was really nice and the breakfast was pretty good! we were there for the new student orientation at PrairieView. I will stay there again. is it the W or some of the larger chains? no-but please keep I mind that you’re in small town America. it is very clean, all facilities work, and breakfast was good.

I wish they had a 2 bedroom suite, but the king suite was fine because you still get a half wall for some privacy

we loved the modern decor. Every inch of this hotel was spotless. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was delicious both morning. Different choices each day. I wish I had taken my own pictures to post. We travel at least one weekend a month to different places for weekend getaways and we seriously do not have a single complaint on this hotel. I can say we will be going here again.

Some of the other guests were filthy during the breakfast buffet. Leaving trash on counters and spills. The staff had to work extra hard to clean up after grown adults and the kids they let make a mess. No excuse for guests behaving this way.

The hotel was located off the interstate and was easy to get to. The hotel staff was very friendly and even asked us in passing how we like our room. They had a fitness center open too and we used it. There are chips/sodas/snacks available for purchase. There is a pool (didn't use). The hotel was very clean. No odors. The room was great- good size, king bed, mini fridge, closet, microwave, coffee pot, tv with good channels, large bathroom. Check out was easy. Would stay here again. Paid $100 for 1 night for Halloween weekend to go to ren fest.

Everything was good. We didn't have any issues during our stay. Would stay here again.

Super clean, rooms were super cold which is a big deal because most hotels your lucky to get it cool enough to sleep comfortable. We like it cold. Perfect when getting ready for a wedding and don't want to be sweating. Beds were super comfortable, didn't want to get out of bed.

If I want to be picky the toiletries could be a bit bigger. I get it though with inflation people are cutting cost.

The staff is the best, very helpful and friendly. The location is great for my purposes. This is my favorite place to stay in an area with few choices.

One of the other people staying at the hotel was rude and making others feel uncomfortable, but that problem was resolved. Also, the beds are still more firm than I like.

Perfect location and really quiet inside considering the “off-freeway” area. I love the fact that my room had a “prairie view”. The bedding was cozy. Upgraded nice soft cotton sheets, a “hypo-allergenic” comforter & pillows. Tastefully decorated, extremely pleasing to the eye. The towels are wonderful & absorbent, a fabulous bath size and not overly fluffy. The lobby is modern & beautiful. Breakfast is wonderful with the choices offered. Laundry facilities are fantastic on property. And a small convenient “store” on property offers soft drinks, snacks, laundry tidbits and toiletries. Staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.

Breakfast was amazing and the hotel was really clean. We didn’t get a chance to hang out in the pool, but my daughter said it was a little on the small side. The beds were really comfortable and the room we had was spacious.

We were visiting family in Houston so the location wasn’t ideal, but the hotel made up for the extra drive. There were too many negative reviews with closer hotels and we are certainly glad we booked this one, even if it was one of the most expensive places we looked at.
