La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tyler

The room was recently renovated. The room had a bleach smell. The refrigerator did not work. I plugged the fridge into another plug. It started working. Informed the desk clerk. She was upset about being assigned this room because it was supposedly not available for rent because of maintenance issues. The room was cleaned well. My cat did not hunt which is what usually occurs because of previous bad pet owners.

The room had recently been renovated but the furniture was extremely tattered. The microwave was at least 30 years old and bolted to the top of the refrigerator. The shower head was spraying out of the down tube where it attached to the shower head. The room had been painted but the plugs were original and we're extremely used and a potential fire Hazzard. The plug in the wall for the fridge was bad. The bottom plug would not supply power and the upper plug lost contact if you bumped the cord on the microwave.

We spent most our time in Chandler with family for a funeral so being able to have a 10/15 minute drive back and forth was nice. The beds were comfortable, location was nice, we didn’t eat breakfast so don’t really know. The staff was excellent every time we come in contact with someone.

Our bathroom had a mold smell but otherwise nothing else was wrong!

Breakfast was very good, the coffee was excellent . The staff was very friendly, courteous, helpful , & prompt! Did have problems with the commode , had to hold the handle down to completely flush! Other than that. Enjoyable stay. Thank you for your service!

We made a last minute reservation for a one night stay in the middle of a long road trip. Staff was exceptional. Front desk clerk accommodated our late 11:15 pm check in and was helpful. The breakfast was good—make your own waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, and flavored water (no juice).

Vinyl floor in our room was filthy otherwise everything else in the room was pristine. The layout of the hotel is odd making the proximity of some interior rooms to parking problematic for loading & unloading. TV didn’t work. Allegedly refundable $25 fee for using credit card.

I have a 3 year old and he can open doors. Normally the rooms can be secured from inside with a latch at the upper part of the door. However, the room we were in had a broken latch and our son did take off out the door a couple times. This is a big safety issue and could be a matter of life or death.

The property was clean on the inside

The breakfast wasn’t very good and the drinking in the parking lot and people passed out drunk was a little strange , we were never warned that the pool was broken before our stay so that was disappointing

We found a couple of roaches in the room. Neighbor was noisy and would sit out on the stairs talking on speaker phone, Pool was closed "Out of Season" in July. Wasn't what I expected from a La Quinta but other than that it was a plesant stay.

Clean, friendly staff member, place for dogs to run, room had a comfy bed, air conditioner was perfect, and a great place to drop a deuce, shave your back, and wash your no no zone... Gladly will I stay again for that reason alone...

No fridge or freezer. No microwave... It's a hotel and travelers do like to bring their own food to eat... Especially ones that do it for a business... Otherwise, FANTASTIC.. great for my dogs as well... Parking on the street is possible for truck and trailers... FYI

Very Clean, The people were so nice and considerate to my needs. Left early in AM so didn't eat breakfast. Had coffee in my room. The amenities were nice

Nothing on part of the hotel. But there was tornado warning so the siren was rough on my dog
