Sonesta Simply Suites Houston – NASA Clear Lake

It is a perfect place if you need a place for a longer stay near LPI, NASA or Boing offices. Good location next to many different restaurants. It has a full kitchen (minus oven), basic kitchenware etc. It is really clean (even my husband was impressed by the cleaning quality!). And the desk staff was just amazing - we had a lot of packages send to us, and they were really helpful. Really recommend!

Thought it would be dodgy .. turned out to be super comfortable and clean . Def 5 stars

Inside decor could be updated or touched up..

The location was super handy to get around Houston. The bed was heavenly. The in-room amenities we're absolutely excellent. Full kitchen full of dishes oh, great appliances, lots of personal care items in the bathrooms.

The interior of the lobby was pretty dated. They could definitely use some updating and decorating. The inside of the rooms were fairly dated also was scratched appliances and some old paint. But seriously it's just little stuff. Lastly the library of DVDs to check out didn't actually have any DVDs in the cases. I'm guessing they had all been stolen for perhaps needed to be borrowed from the front desk. But that wasn't noted anywhere, and I didn't feel like walking back to the front to ask about it.

Good, quiet location for NASA, Clear Lake (as opposed to more freeway-centric hotel options). Pleasant rooms. Walking distance to eating options. Kitchenette is nice. Great value for the money spent.

Hotel interior corridors showing age. Hotel is an extended stay, so no housekeeping service if your stay is within a week (didn't know that going in). TV channels were difficult to navigate without an in-room referential channel menu. Sonesta doesn't offer reward points if booked through Booking.com.

This is just me but I'm a big guy and the hotel didn't get cool enough for me. I couldn't get it lower then 70 but I travel with a fan and that helped in the bedroom

It was very spacious, most of staff were very friendly and there were no smells.

The shower head had very low water pressure. Since it was the holiday weekend, the hostess stated that nothing could be done.

We like everything about the hotel itself except for the extremely large cockroach that we found in the tub and staff that may have stole money from me. Booking.com is investigating right now.

The staff should be able to explain the charges and give verification of why they took extra money out of my account

The queen suite was large enough for us. Being able to do laundry at no additional cost was a bonus

The tile floor at the back entry was wet due to the rain. it was slippery and there weren’t any caution signs or rugs.

The room was small but fully equipped and renovated. (queen room). Pet friendly with green zones to walk the dog. Very convenient if you are visiting NASA.

High pet fee for a night. ($75) it’s flat rate for the whole stay but it’s costly for a night.

The hotel was helpful and understanding when we needed a longer check out time. Very polite. Place was clean and everyone was friendly.

The hotel was great. It was the people below us that gave us a noise complaint and were banging on the ceiling like maniacs. My kids built a fort and rolled in the office chair. That was too much apparently.
