The staff was wonderful and accommodated me as I was heading into town on Thanksgiving day. They had a Thanksgiving meal that was sold out and being I was solo opened a seat for me to sit at the bar. It meant a lot. I hung out at the bar during the evenings and spoke with the bartenders and guests. The staff is wonderful and friendly and recommended some choices in food which was phenomenal! The room was very large and gorgeous and clean. Walking around town was easy as the location is very central. I would hands down book again the next time I am in the area.

Marfa is a weird place to visit. First of all, it is a very small Texan town that hipsters are trying to convert into a hip, artsy cool place. Which is really good if it weren't for the ridiculous prices that everyone is charging there for everything. Saint George is the prime example of this. In general it is amazing, for a small town hotel, it has nothing exceptional, nice room, clean, spacious, with a great restaurant and a great location. Prices in the restaurant are fair.

Not a good value for money. Very expensive stay not justified at all by the artsy narrative they promote. Art should be accessible for everyone, not a niche thing for only a few privileged.

It was a new and contemporary hotel. The room details were great and overall room area was spacious. Location is nice and quiet. We also enjoyed their breakfast area and excellent service there.

It was, expectedly, not a cheap hotel. However, there was absolutely no essential items in the room without paying extra, such as water or coffee. When I kindly provided my feedback to the staff, I was informed that they would have provided a coffee machine if asked. They could have told us these details to us when checked in or include some information in the room.

Room was very comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We dined in the downstairs restaurant and the food was very, very good. Service was also very good. Breakfast was good and served nicely.

There is no covered access to the hotel. We parked out front and used a hotel provided cart to move our luggage in and out of he the hotel. It was raining. Not pleasant. The luggage cart needed the tires inflated a bit more. I don't recall if the front door was automated to ease entry/exit especially with the luggage cart.

This property is excellently located and close to everything you'd want to venture out and see in Marfa. The rooms were large, and well appointed.

I'd suggest they consider adding additional lighting in the bathroom at the sink. It was difficult to see your face when washing or applying make up.

new clean facility with good restaurant, bar & amenities. pool area is separate but easily accessible. staff were so accommodating in that they moved our room to other side to avoid train noise which didn’t end up a problem. the host brought our key card to the bar where we were waiting for an early check in.

only one elevator functioned.

The restaurant /bar has a very corporate feel with dark grey wall to wall carpet that does not fit with this chic hotel and destroys the ambiance. Put in some colorful shag rugs and replace the coffee shop looking tables and chairs, St. George! Plus the prices in the restaurant /bar are ridiculous--clearly aimed at fleecing tourists who have very few choices in Marfa.

Really loved my stay here: spacious well-designed rooms, great bar and restaurant with a pizza oven, nice staff. I would totally recommend!

The pool was one of the reasons I booked this property but it was closed for the season when we arrived. It was not communicated in any way and was quite a bummer.

The room was exceptional. It was massive, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was set with modern amenities. The food was good quality and I liked the detached pool area. It was a nice relaxed setting during the day and at night they allow locals (without kids) to come and enjoy, so you have a chance to make a few local friends. It doesn't get backed though. The drinks are well done.

Great design and atmosphere. Very nice bathroom, bed, linens, views. Fun restaurant/bar downstairs. Great pool area. Excellent location, walkable to almost everything - even Chinati.

No room service even though prices are not reduced. The cleaning staff had not dusted any surfaces in the room in who knows how long... there was a thick layer of dust that we could draw in on the counter and side tables. Green cleaning does not mean omitting dusting! The place seemed generally understaffed with some of the staff visibly irritable. Yet the COVID excuse for understaffing makes no sense. The place was booked to full capacity and at a regular rates.
