I loved the big sunny room with Christmas decor for breakfast, with access to fruit and treats always out. I liked having so many kinds of Stash tea at a table with hot water right outside the door at all times. Mostly I loved the homey feeling of nostalgia and history…like being at your grandma’s where everyone is welcome, it’s informal, quiet and relaxing, really comfy bed!

This hotel is amazing - it is really an old world vibe. The owners are super nice and go out of their way. There was live music when I stayed and you could get dinner as well. A hot breakfast was included in the price when I stayed. I slept very well here and also LOVED the sulphur bath (you can’t get that anywhere else I have ever been and it was not expensive!). The surrounding area is quiet but very beautiful and I am excited to get back here soon.

I loved the amethyst bed. I came for the sulpher bath but decided the therapeutic benefits of the amethyst was more to my liking and needs. Go to the Armour with an open mind. Food was great. Owners were exceptional. If you are looking for a sleek and modern experience, go elsewhere. If you seek peaceful, relaxing, and the comfort of history, go to the Armour. You won't be disappointed.

Some of this property's character could be enhanced with gentle modern upgrades, but I believe history is important, the new owners want to make this happen and they are truly capable of it. A new coffee maker in the common area is in order.

There are many antiques throughout the hotel and each have a story. The owners are very eager to make your stay the best possible. Dinner was extremely tasty and you get a lot for a decent price. I highly recommend the Wagyu burger!!!!

Our visit was in February and it was cold. The window ac units need a little more insulation around them. The room was drafty (expected for the time of year and the age of the hotel) and you could treat the window sill like a tiny refrigerator. I, personally, enjoyed the cooler temps as I am a human furnace these days.

Neat hotel/spa with a ton of history! This is the only hotel left with a spa to soak in the waters. It’s located in what’s left of a historical spa town known for its healing waters even before settlers arrived. The waters were used by both sides during the Civil War. The breakfast is amazing!

The rooms are a bit small and dated, with few outlets, like many vintage hotels. Currently there’s no massage available but planned again soon, so call beforehand. There’s only one restaurant in town (although a fun, family owned Mexican place).

I went here for a solo vacation. It's a perfect spot to completely get away from everything.If you're wanting to go somewhere off the beaten path this is it. The spa was very relaxing. The mineral bath was very nice, my skin felt great!!!!The staff was very nice. I will definitely go again.

I enjoyed everything.

The breakfast should have more selection for those who don't like what the main breakfast is that day. Everything was perfect though. Highly recommend a mineral bath or any of the spa items. Not bad on price either.

Honestly, I think the price could've been better. $270 for two nights, no t.v. in the bedroom?

The entire visit exceeded out expectations! We loved the Spa treatments, breakfast, the room, the staff and the location!!! We shall be returning again!!!

The food was great. We even had dinner. Owner is a marvelous cook. I had some things I never had before. Bravo

Shower not enough pressure. It was ok.

My husband and I really enjoyed and loved everything about our stayed.

We have no complaints.
