Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Downtown

This is a gem of a property in Nashville, staff are all very helpful and go out their way (Jeff) who works in the restaurant area was excellent. Few things to note about why you should stay here, it’s about 7 min walk to Broadway so location is perfect, just far enough to be quiet but close enough to walk home late at night. The hotel has so much to offer, fairly equipped gym, large heated pool with an indoor and outdoor section, massive outdoor hot tub which was pretty busy from 6pm onwards. The hotel also includes Breakfast, free drinks happy hour from 530-7pm as well as food on offer during happy hour. Room was large and had everything you could need, comfortable bed, decent shower and cable tv. I would 100% return and stay here again, you won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely love Nashville! We came to Nashville with friends for a much needed get away. The room was impeccably clean and I am particular — I check everything! I am a hotel snob and typically stay at a specific pricier hotel chain. But the outstanding reviews reeled me in. So glad we booked with Drury!! The daily housekeeper was amazing and thorough. I love that they do not have heavy gross bedspreads and all the linens were fresh and crisp. The staff was very friendly, the bar service was fantastic— Tori was a doll! Loved the free breakfast and dinner option along with 3 free cocktails daily during cocktail hour. Saved us so much money. The pool was very nice and so was the hot tub. Like that we saw staff cleaning it every morning. The evening pop corn was enjoyed daily by one of our friends. Hotel always looked polished.

The only small thing I can offer for improvement is that after the dinner crowd, the staff needs to clean the deck area by the cafe. Wipe the tables and take up all the dirty dishes and tidy up. We went to enjoy sitting out on the deck and it was like a dinner explosion had gone off. The inside cafe was cleaned, but not the deck. We moved dirty dishes and tidied up a space so we could relax. It is a minor detail, but just needs buttoned up. City wise… We wish the city would work more on the sewage smell that hits about every 10 feet. The homeless and meth heads especially around Kid Rocks bar need to be addressed big time.

it looked like our room hadn’t been properly cleaned. there was dog food on the floor, in the open. not sure if it was vacuumed.

The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing! There was live bands every night which was a bonus as I wasn’t expecting that! Location is super close to everything my wife and I walked everywhere we wanted to go! We will be back!

The price and location were great compared to a much higher priced property we have stayed in right next door, and they throw in free drinks at happy hour, plus free food and free hot breakfast. What an unexpected deal! Some reviewers have complained about having to pay for parking but I have come to expect this in hotels in big cities. Although I think parking should be included, I preferred the self park in their private garage. No extra tipping for valet and the parking garage was convenient with easy in/out access.

When I initially booked this hotel, I thought it was a bit pricey; although it was comparable to other area hotels. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Often times, when breakfast is included, it's terrible. This breakfast was fresh, had a lot of selections and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a very early morning flight and arrived at the hotel around 8am. While the staff did the best they could to provide an early check-in, the room wasn't available and so they provided access to breakfast and happily stored our luggage while we went to explore the city. We arrived back at the hotel at 2:30 pm and the room was available so the staff immediately checked us in. The room was extremely clean (which says a lot considering I am a bit of a neat freak) and surprisingly, the beds were comfortable. Everything was within walking distance so while you may pay a bit more to stay here, breakfast, afternoon snack (popcorn) and an early evening buffet, with 3 complimentary alcoholic beverages were provided. In my opinion, this saved far more than staying at an AirBNB and having to Uber everywhere, not to mention going out for all of your meals. I will be returning to Nashville for a friend's wedding and I will absolutely stay at the Drury again!

We checked in at the Drury with the most pleasant, helpful, and quite charming young man. He answered all of our questions. Breakfast was very good with both hot food like oatmeal, eggs, and pancakes as well as cold cereal. There were plenty of tables with some outside with a nice view of the city. We loved the roomy hot tub and pool. Having both a microwave and a refrigerator in the room was good and we used both. And they had tea bags in the room! --- another typically neglected item. There were two large mirrors outside of the bathroom with good lighting - something many hotels lack. The TV was large! The entire hotel was clean. During our stay we were approached by at least four managers who inquired about our stay and offered any needed assistance. The staff was so pleasant and helpful from the super-nice young man who checked us in to the staff cleaning the tables at breakfast. I don't think that I can recall ever having staff at a hotel so attentive. It was very nice! I loved that they had wine right in their Marketplace. The location was not right in the midst of things with just a bit of a walk from Broadway. However, Broadway can be so loud that we were very grateful that we were a bit away. And since we also walked to the Gulch area, it was a perfect location. We walked to all of the popular museums as well as the Ryman Auditorium. We walked to the Parthenon too, but that was about a 45 minute walk. I do believe there's a bus or trolley that takes you to each attraction as well -- or at least most. Drury's evening "happy hour" was such an enjoyable event. I felt like such a valued customer while sipping wine looking out over the city. I would definitely recommend staying at the Drury.

I really can't think of anything that I didn't like.

This hotel was excellent. Everything about it. Onsite parking was a HUGE PLUS and the reason we chose this hotel but we will return for the cleanliness and safety of the hotel. Very secure in all areas and one extra added feature that I like was that even the elevators will not take you to the guest rooms until you scan your card. They have extra amenities that could save a family staying here a good bit of money. They have a meal at 5:30 each night and a full extended breakfast every morning that is included in your room charge. They also have free adult drinks for each adult each night. We really enjoyed this and just relaxed by the fire and had a drink before we went to our event. Best hotel I have ever stayed at.

The fact that the rooms were over $500 a night and there was no complimentary water in the room blew my mind. We arrived at 2 in the morning and had to go down from the 20th floor to BUY water.

Free Breakfast, Free Dinner, and Free Alcohol! What more could you ask for?
