Motel 6 Athens

Clean room was right off highway and the staff was very friendly. They even called me while on way home to let me know we had left a bag. I called when we got home the the gentleman said he will mail it to us - Could not ask for more. Very pleased with what it was and were not looking for fancy perks, just a clean, secure room for the night.

There was really anything I did not like. Only thing I think could use is a bigger sign showing the drive where you turn. and maybe another after you are on the road. Kinda looked like a country road and was not sure was in right spot.

Didn't eat the breakfast, because we were in a hurry. I thought the motel exceeded our expectations. The staff was courteous and professional. The hotel was very clean as well was the rooms. Great experience for the price. I would absolutely stay there again!

Honestly, I can't find a single thing wrong. Usually, you get what you pay for. Not with this motel. You definitely get a good bit more for the price.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and have always been satisfied. The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and answered all of my questions.

This was the first time I was on the first floor and I had difficulty sleeping due to the noise. But I realize that was the only available room left, so it couldn't be helped. I will just make sure to request a second floor room next time.

The location was very clean and the staff at check in and check out were very courtious. Rooms were very clean and the showers were huge. Completed a 2nd stay the very next weekend on my way back from NJ. So would not have stayed if didn't like it.

My only complaint would be the elevator! It's very rough and when the door closes while on the 2nd floor, it acts as if it's going to drop and scared my wife and another lady who rode with us.

It was very clean and budget friendly. It is very simple with nothing extra. But we was in the area for a softball tournament so we all we needed was a bed and shower. We was very impressed with how clean everything was.

The bathroom good use an update.

I loved everything about this motel..it's so clean and they also keep the property outside clean too.its off the main highway you can't hear the traffic..the staff here are so sweet and help any way they can..love the staff

Clean rooms and connecting rooms was a huge plus for our kids. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were only there a few hours to sleep but it was a great value.

A little hard to navigate to and it's a little hidden but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Didn’t expect much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Elizabeth was helpful at checkin even showing me the security view of my car in the parking lot. My room (108) was spotless and not in need of any maintenance. Best of all my dog stayed for no extra fees.

No issues

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the rooms were. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean. For 2 rooms for 2 days was less than 1 day at near by facilities. So for the price it was an exceptional stay!

The only negative was the only ice machine was down stairs by the front desk and there was only one iron and ironing board for the entire hotel. Even that would not prevent me from staying there again.

I didn’t try any breakfast. The location is very good. Next to the highway, Dunkin’ , restaurants and gas stations. Vending machines are nice to have inside.

The heat/ac unit being digital would have been nice. They worked fine but temp in your room isn’t very consistent with the knob style.
