La Quinta by Wyndham Myrtle Beach - N. Kings Hwy

My wife and I loved being right next door to Friendlys Restaurant.

The room floor although vacuumed really needed mopping. I had to wear socks as both my feet and socks were filthy.

The hotel is right across the street to a mini golf course and a restaurant. You can WALK to the beach! Location, Location,Location! All you need is minutes away. Book it. You'll thank me later.

good value for family. close location to the beach. staff was friendly and helpful. close to several restaurants. breakfast had decent variety / selection. free parking, lots of spaces, felt safe.

wished the pool was open, it was closed during our stay.

Pet friendly, close walk to beach, room clean, bed comfortable

$25 per night, even if the pet is an ESA or therapy animal and as of March 1st, 2023 they will be charging $15 per day for parking in their small tight parking lot so unfortunately we wont be staying at this location anymore.

To begin, the hotel has a policy of cleaning the room only 3rd day, plus if you need tissue,toilet tissue, towels you go to the front desk to get it yourself.Sorry but I begged the desk person to have my room cleaned on the third day.She granted me the cleaning but house keeping barely made the bed, left half the towels, no glasses or. Cups for coffee.A clean room is essential and I travel with a dog companion so it is dusty quickly.I told the front desk that a chair in the room should be removed as it had been attacked by a cat/dog and was a mess. I love La Quinta hotels but clean room is something I pay for. Breakfast is the same everyday, no change and the bananas were over ripe! I stayed 14 nites at this location .

Close to the beach. Less than 2 miles! The staff was great! Restaurants miles on end on that same street!

No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

The facility was very clean and the staff were all very nice. The breakfast was good and had a good selection of both hot & cold items.

The beds were very small. We paid for 2 queen beds but the beds were only full size. The room was nice but very small

The location of the hotel was great as it was at a good distance from restaurants, shopping, the beach and other entertainment. There was plenty of parking and the room was clean. This hotel is pet friendly as I saw others walking their dogs. There was a Friendly's restaurant within walking distance which was great. The bed was comfortable, and we were able to get extra towels when needed. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. When asked to get another room it was no problem as there was an issue with the bathroom with the first room we got. The breakfast was good.

I can see the hotel was renovated for the most part it looked good but there were areas where it was noticeable like at the elevator having spots that were not touched at all. The bathroom with my first room had a foul odor but I had no problem getting maintenance to come to confirm the issue and I was quickly given another room.

Rooms smelled clean and were clean. Location was great convenience and close to everything like stores, gas, food, boardwalk short drive like 3 minutes away. Bed wasn’t as comfortable but tolerable. I understand breakfast and housekeeping being limited due to Covid. So no complaints there, we still were able to grab clean linen whenever we wanted. My only compliant would be the WiFi access, I guess it was at its capacity. But overall a great stay, staff members were respectful and attentive each encounter. I appreciate that it was a great Long birthday weekend for me and would definitely stay again.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful and cheerful!! We didn't have pets but it is pet friendly and still you wouldn't know if you didn't see a cute doggie from time to time. They had a rolling crib for our daughter and getting extra towels and supplies was a breeze! Would definitely stay here again!

Pool was a little small and it's not beach front but you get what you pay for and it's still in a great location close to everything you could need!! Free breakfast was not the best I've had. Waffles and fresh fruit were good, the rest could go.
