Candlewood Suites - Bluffton-Hilton Head, an IHG Hotel

clean. having a fridge and kitchen etc. was great. The staff were all professional friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. I felt they genuinely cared.

we had trouble with our key cards a few times. the staff were very helpful and apologetic. one of our rooms the microwave was on mute which we reported, it wasn’t fixed. one of our rooms you could only get warm water not hot as the tap didn’t turn right round to hot. we reported it a few times, the staff were very helpful, polite and apologetic about it though but it didn’t get fixed.

An excellent aparthotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, for example providing additional coffee and tea. The room was very comfortable with good cooking facilities - we cooked breakfast all 3 days of our stay. We used the clothes washing and drying facilities, which did not need money and were excellent. There is a restaurant within walking distance, however, we drove into the centre of Bluffton where there are lots of interesting and good value restaurants. The town is much more picturesque than we imagined. It is a relatively short drive to Hilton Head Island where access to the public beaches was easy at this time of year. Overall, an excellent few days.

Candlewood Suites was absolutely phenomenal!!! This location was 30 minutes from so many cool spots such as Coligny Hilton Head, Savannah, & Beaufort- a prime location !!! The hotel itself exceeded expectations all around. We loved having a spacious room with a kitchen / well stocked with anything we would need such as pots/pans, a dishwasher a full size fridge etc. They had an outstanding little gym / free laundry facilities as well. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable/ accommodating to us. They made us feel like family and we felt very at home during our stay. The only downside is no complimentary breakfast , which we didn’t mind because you have everything you need to cook in your room OR enjoy local eats, which is even more exciting ! We can’t wait to visit again !

Great location. Same amount of time to get to tourist points, whether it was Hilton Head or Savannah. Very peaceful area. With the convenience of eateries or stores for your need.

The room could of been stocked a little better wth plates, utensils, toilet paper & towels. Rather then keep having to go down to front desk.

It's always a great stay there, we were in 112 first floor which we loved. was so much easier for us and our pet. The employees are great there, so pleasant and always ready to assist.

I did seriously though think that the bed was going to be larger but it worked. I do wish that there were some benches in the pet area, I have a bad back and it is hard standing there, only had the cement to sit on. Even a canopy would be nice because when it rains you do get wet. Also the curtains don't close all the way so I had to use a hair clip so no one could see in. Thank You.

We loved how it was close to a grocery store and a couple restaurants within walking distance. Since we didn’t have a car the first day of our stay. Having a kitchenette was awesome even if we weee only there four days. The shower was the best hotel shower ever.

In the bathroom I could clearly hear our down stairs neighbors.

Pet friendly. Our dogs did well. Shower pressure was great. Bed was very comfortable. Liked ability get coffee in the morning. The staff was very helpful. Liked that it is close to Food Lion so we could easily get groceries We stay here every time we come to Bluffton. It is very close to our family.

One small issue was the big trucks that parked - - they had no choice but to take up several spaces. I parked overnight next door at a night spot - - "Daddy O's" which was no big deal. I just moved my car in the morning.

We were staying for a week catching up on details prior to closing on our new home. We had usually stayed somewhere else but besides the rates being much higher than previously there were no room. Candlewood was reasonably priced, there was a full size fridge, a stove top, microwave and dishwasher. We could fix something simple when we were tired of going to restaurants. The room was more than adequate for our needs. We’d heard very mixed reviews and were pleasantly surprised. Only complaint which is not Candlewood’s fault is that the free internet is very slow and cell service is terrible.

I liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. I was exploring the area as a possible future home

House phone did not work and did not realize until late second night. I was considering extending one additional night if I did not have to change rooms for the same rate.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location if you want to get away.from the hustle of HH Island, but still very close to run over there for the day. We will be back.

The pool area wasn't all that inviting, but if we had more time I'm sure we'd use it.
