The building was beautiful. The history.
No chair to sit on. Not enough hangers or places to put things in bathroom or room. We stayed in 302. I really didn’t like the toilet and other bathroom area separate. You could t wash your hands without going to the other side. I did get the shower concept though. I didn’t like no walls on the shower it was messy. Didn’t find the high front steps easy to access. Would have been good for someone to tell us if there was another easier entrance. No staff on site. The sign that said we can’t see you but we can see you. A little rude. No windows and common area was on one floor for everyone. Could hear between rooms to easily.

Highest marks for historic architecture and character married to ingenious interior design without sacrificing comfort. Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially a manager, Fawn, who allowed us to view several other magnificent rooms when she saw how excited we were about the amazing appointments throughout the building. Just can't recommend The Grand City Hall hotel any higher. We also ate a lovely dinner at the Newsroom Restaurant which had just reopened under new management, then had drinks in the Speakeasy which was replete wirh silent movies from the Mary Pickford and Fatty Arbuckle days.

Everything! As an avid traveler, this place stands out from any place I’ve stayed at. The building and its history all in itself is worth a peak. But once you get inside and start looking around you can tell that this place is a work of love. The owners and their staff are so friendly and take so much pride in preserving this building and the towns history. I love the way they integrate history along with modern touches. For this stay, in particular I booked The “Fires and Fighters” which is opulent and spacious and included a luxurious beautiful claw foot tub. Perfect to unwind and relax from long day out and about. This is what I love about this place. Each room is so unique and offers a different story and experience. I plan on coming back, bringing new friends to share this experience with. Thank you again, Sandy and staff for another memorable weekend getaway!

Where do I begin…. this property is stunning! By far one of the cleanest, comfortable and quietest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. And I’m an avid traveler.. constantly looking for the next amazing property. My room had an incredible smell to it, sweet like chocolate. After speaking with the owner, Sandra, she could not explain the smell but she said other guests also commented on it. The architecture, design and attention to details are captivating. So much history here along with added historical pieces. Such as the wall with the picture of civil war soldiers and the historical photo from the 1800’s of downtown Williamsport. I also loved the Metal post office mail sorter wall unit that remained in my room. so many little architectural details as well. My room was very spacious and The King bed and Lines were so comfortable. it made it difficult to get up and moving in the morning. I loved this property so much I am planning my next visit after the restaurant opens.

A really fun place to stay. Unique building and cool design. The king-size bed was very, very comfortable. Lots of places to plug in your phone. Interesting elements in the room: floor tile and metal hooks, grab bars and counter, interesting sink faucet. The "no front desk" entry was convenient.
As a mother traveling with an 18 year old son, the glass shower that wasn't completely blocked visually by the sliding door was a little awkward 😂 but you can work around it (shower when the other one is sleeping or visiting the lounge). Obviously not a problem for couples, solo travelers, parents with small children, or comfortable nudists.

What I liked most about the property was how it was decorated, and every single one of the rooms are different. We got to check out a few of the other rooms before we left, and I will have to see if we’re ever in that area again traveling, that will be the place we stay. And we also got to meet the owner. She is amazing very friendly.
I guess the only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the fact that in most of the rooms there was no privacy, or enough privacy from the shower, and for the toilet area

Magnificent architecture and decor. Nice coffee setup in common area. Pool and jacuzzi looked nice though we didn't use them. Room temp well controlled. Plenty of room in open shower arrangement. Comfy bed and pillows.
Parking was tight in some areas. Main entry has steps that would restrict ADA access, may have been other door options, but confusing. No windows in our third floor room. No refrigerator. Squeegee for shower would have made floor puddles more manageable.

Everything! From not having to check in to the amazing decor! They have murals on the walls depicting local history and beautiful pieces decorating each floor! You pay in advance and get door code texted to you! No fuss checking in and wasting time! The room was gorgeous with a huge claw foot jet tub. It also had an XL shower and the most comfy beds. We will be back for sure!

Property was very clean and excellent location from everything downtown. I was impressed at the room design and layout. Felt more like a home than a hotel.
Wish there was a better vending machine and snack bar. Also anticipated “the newsroom” to be open but it was closed both days. But with no staff at the location I can understand the reason.

When we checked in, we had a little problem with the door knocking mechanism. Your staff member Fawn responded immediately and went above and beyond to make sure that we were switched to another room. In addition, she personally delivered an extra blanket to our room for the evening. A very personable and very competent member of your team.
