Hyatt House Philadelphia-King of Prussia

The room was completely well organized and secure. Very clean, comfortably decorated. Excellent use of space. The staff was very friendly, informative and patient. Breakfast was good, dinning facilities were clean, and presented a wonderful atmosphere. Cook staff, made sure food was plentiful, organized and readily available. Day manager worked diligently to keep these orderly and pleasant for guests.

I feel silly writing this, but I would have preferred a more firmer pillow…this comment is strictly my personal preference. The bed felt excellent.

Kitchenette, pots, pans, silverware, electric stove, Walmart was less than 3 minutes away, though we stayed in a one bedroom felt like two because it was a suite with double closed doors and privacy from the kiddos, clean, two TVs in the suite lobby and lounge area decorated beautifully breakfast fresh and good

That the swimming pool closes at 10:00 but not staff fault we checked in super late than expected, wished hours were longer for pool time

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Good variety of foods for breakfast. Location was ideal and appeared to be in a safe spot. Nice shower. The kitchenette was nice if you were staying more than 1 night, you’d be able to heat leftovers or make actual food.

You have to put a hotel keycard in this “pocket” by the door to activate the power to the room. Our power did not work initially, the breaker flipped. Rather than explain that, they sent an engineer up who came in and flipped the breaker back. The breaker box was right by the bed so I could’ve done it myself, just thought the keycard port thing wasn’t working. 2nd floor hallway smelled like cigarettes. Not sure if staff were smoking in the storage or linens closets (that’s where it was most noticeable) but we didn’t see or hear any other guests on our end of the floor. I’m used to a TV being pointed at the bed but this one was on a dresser. From the bed, you can only see the side of the TV. There wasn’t enough space to angle it towards the bed.

Staff were very pleasant. All of them! Genuinely and seemingly nice. Room was a nice size. Kitchen had everything to cook. Parking was easy. Big beautiful windows and nice block out curtains to match. Walmart and other great things to do were not far! Next to Mall as well.

Would have liked to have a regular or a bigger mini size fridge. It barely had a freezer part and couldnt really fit any food to cook. Wish wash cloths didnt feel like brillo pads. The soap is horrible so dont even use to wash your hands. The kitchen door had a broken off glass piece that fell on my 6 year old. Luckily it didnt hurt him as I caught some of it. Later found out staff already knew about it and I was told someone would come to fix. That never happened during the 2 night stay. I was also told they only serve breakfast meat twice a week and it wasnt the Friday and Saturday mornings I ate so dont expect ANY meat at breakfast. I have had a bigger and better breakfast at other hotels but this was something to hold me and the family over.

The variety of breakfast offerings was good. The beds were super comfy.

The TV set-up is not user friendly. I was not able to activate the GetStreaming function on my iPhone. A staff member tried to assist and was unable to make it work on my phone. I think that having to use your phone to use the TV makes it unnecessarily complicated.

I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and being close to good shopping and gardens. Front staff was efficient and personable. I ordered take out from the kitchen and the chef was friendly.

These are minor points but things I noticed: I did not see an extra note about special cleaning or what they did to keep the room clean. They had that at another hotel I stayed out. It made me feel more secure. The remote to the TV was very old. With everything else being modern, upgrade something simple to match the surroundings. Fan could be cleaned.

I thought proving wine glasses and coffee mugs and silverware and all the other dishes was awesome along with a kitchenette.

All of the outlets in the room sparked when I plugged in my phone charger so because of this was afraid to use any of the outlets for fear of setting the room on fire

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very very clean and the staff were great! We loved how equipped the kitchenette was with utensils, dishes, pots and pans. It made it more of a convenient thing so we didnt have to go out and eat. It's in a greattttt location and right next to a casino if you like to gamble. I recommend!

The shower in our room leaked, A LOT! And looking at the other reviews, I'm guessing this happens in a lot of other rooms as well. It might just be because of how the showers were installed. Fire alarm went off while we were there for about 20min so that was annoying lol but other than that, it was a great stay.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. TV with built in Chromecast was a nice touch. Stand-up shower was large with wonderfully hot water. Conveniently located right next to the King of Prussia mall. Also a short trip to Valley Forge.

Relatively easy to hear the other guests above us. The breakfast was just basic packaged pastries & breakfast sandwiches. The air conditioner was rather noisy. One of our keycards didn't open the door. The pool was closed during our stay. The office chair in the room was rather worn & ripped.

Very nice facility, people are very kind especially the front desk the night I checked in and the bartender.

I had issues with housekeeping both nights. First night I had to go and find a housekeeper to clean my room. Second night I never had any housekeeping whatsoever.
