Econo Lodge Harrisburg/Hershey

the staff was awesome! Aaron takes pride in the hotel he works from sun up past son down. I was upset the rooms I requested months prior were not connected . However Aaron did his best to fix it although he couldn’t he tried and kept me informed and returned my calls promptly. I think that place is lucky to have him ! The rooms were cleaner than I ever seen and I travel alot! I was very impressed, walls clean , edges , bathroom…wow I thought I was gonna stay in a run down hole in the wall.

The location was horrible between truck stop and gas station in a small road in between. I got a little sketchy. Hotel sign needs to be bigger, i passed it first time. Breakfast sucks , I opted to eat at Perkins across street. Needs better towels

The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations. The products were always fresh and of good quality. The area was clean. It was always on time! And there was always a staff member ready to help us.

The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. The stairs and hall needed some cleaning, but at the moment we were there they were understaffed. Actually, they were hiring. So we really appreciated that the cleaning efforts were mainly focused on the rooms.

Room was nice and reasonably priced. The owner (Kal Pitel) was wonderful and very accommodating considering the staffing challenges she has been forced to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

Finding Econolodge was a problem as they are located on a road off the main street and consequently the building can't be seen. Only a small sign on Linglestown Road indicates the turnoff and I drove past numerous times before finally spotting it. The room wasn't ready when I arrived a little past 3 pm but the owner has had a heck of a time hiring enough people to clean rooms (an issue with other places I have stayed as well and not her fault). No elevator or ramp to get to the second floor, just stairs. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, I would suggest asking for a first floor room.

The room had all of the amenities I needed (fridge, microwave, desk/table, TV) and the air conditioning in my room was quite good. The included breakfast was okay but not an elaborate feast. There is a coffee machine in the room but a better one is in the breakfast area that actually grinds the beans and brews the coffee while you wait, and it’s available all the time not just at breakfast. If you are visiting the Giant Stadium or Hershey’s Chocolate World attractions they are right down the same road that the hotel is on. The road even feeds directly into the parking for both attractions. It is a quiet 10 minute or so drive from the hotel but avoids the traffic of being right in Hershey. Next door to the hotel is a Sheetz that is a good gas and convenience store chain in the area.

There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. The place is hard to find at night as the hotel signs are not lighted, maybe to save electricity expense.

The property was very clean,an pet friendly with lots of space to walk your pet,the staff was very accommodating,an the interior design was beautiful upon entering loved the staircase !

where The property is located makes it very hard to find. we had to circle the interstate two times to find it ! Better signage would help .

The place was very clean. The staff was polite and professional.

The smell inside the room was a little weird.

I liked the location of being close to the 81. I liked the check in process. The staff was very courteous friendly and accommodating. The lobby was well kept and the room I had was perfect!

I didn’t like that there is no seating area for guest to sit outside of hotel or signage for where guest who are smokers. You are only informed where to go smoke if you’re standing or sitting too close to the entry.

The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The only problem was the hotel was very hard to find from the street. The Econo Lodge sign is very small and hard to see. Please put up a much bigger sign and some arrows to indicate the property is in about 100 yards from the main road

The rooms was very nice.

The outside of the building look like a jungle. I thought it was close because it was a black lock. On the door the grass The weeds, the bushes, the trees. All need cutting and trimmed up to make it look nicer.

All 3 front desk people were very nice and accommodating and also the young guy that did the laundry too! The continental breakfast was excellent...many choices, definitely got enough to eat!

Definitely needs to get the grass cut and landscaping spruced up around the building..makes it look run down and takes away how nice it looks inside.
