Best Western Fort Washington Inn

It was in an out of the way area that was very quiet but well lit. The breakfast was varied with fruit, cereals and hot food. The AC unit had a constant fan function which I really love. The hot water never ran out.

The room looked renovated but the bathroom looked like someone tried to salvage what was there. There were some areas of the “hardwood” floors in the room that needed to be cleaned - they had “something” stuck to them.

Actual hot breakfast options. Comfortable bed and pillows. Easy checkout. Covered parking spots. Friendly staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Open pool.

Only 1 luggage cart for the whole hotel. Public access carpets (in the hallways) were pretty nasty looking. Check in was a little slow. Pool not monitored in any way. Hotel guests using the pool area were destructive and intrusive. Eating by pool, smoking (cigarettes and marijuana right next to pool, with children in it). Screaming, chasing each other, diving and splashes. Pool was somewhat dirty, likely as a result of these guests. We could not enjoy the pool at all due to this.

Room had good beds and a tub.

I ordered a cot to be put in the room, way ahead of time. The room had two queen beds, but there was no cot available and then suddenly I was told the fire marshal came by and said I couldn’t put a cot in the room, unless it was in a king bed room. When booking the cot over the phone, nothing was mentioned about that rule. The request was added and I was told not a problem.

Stayed here when a storm took out our power and we needed a place where I could use a necessary medical device. We showed up looking like a couple of stressed-out drowned rats, but the gentleman at the desk (I regret I did not get his name) was friendly, efficient, and even made us laugh. I had made the reservation only an hour earlier using the last 15% of power on my phone and was worried that there'd be an issue when we got there, but everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was about what you'd expect and the breakfast area was kept spotless. Checkout was friendly, fast and simple.

Bed was a bit soft, but that's just my preference. We've stayed in similar rooms for far less than what we paid for this one, but it was a Saturday night and the booking was last minute so I guess that's to be expected.

The location was perfect for our plans to visit Arcadia University as well as travel into Philly for a ballgame. Room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Nothing negative stands out. I’ve yet to find a shower in a hotel that I’m fond of so I won’t harp on theirs.

I love the free breakfast every morning the gentleman who runs the breakfast is so nice and sweet and the food is good.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like that I felt I needed to complain. The location was a little further than I anticipated but I still would stay here again

Staff, breakfast, clean and comfotable

The pool was advertised, but not open. BIG let down. One of the reasons it place was chosen.

Breakfast was good, full breakfast great variety. Water got hot immediately, staff very engaging and helpful, you didn't have to ask for help, they were very attentive.

Facilities could us a little updating but staff does well with what they have to work with.

Breakfast was very good and kept hotter and fresher than most. We especially appreciated speaking to the lovely Judy who has been at this location for 30 plus years!

Shower was a little temperamental but nothing hubby couldn't fix.

Very clean rooms..very friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way to offer help. The hot breakfast was actually hot and fresh and the cold drinks were cold. Well done!

The only complaint is the waste basket was too small and only one was available. This is the only thing that I found that was not above and beyond my expectations.
