Fairfield by Marriott The Dalles

As always we love marriott. We know what to expect and that is why we stay there. Always clean and comfortable

For the first time in a long time the breakfast was poorly supplied. Usually there is someone there keeping up on everything but not the case. We sat and ate but two of the normal baskets were empty. No apples when there are always apples. After I ate a few things some eventually came and put out a few sausage and egg biscuits i think three of them were all that was put out. I understand this is not typical from experience with marriott but it was disappointing.

Staff was helpful and kind. The establishment was very clean. Nothing seemed old or outdated. The back lawn was nice, we played cornhole in the grass with boards and bags provided by Fairfield. The breakfast was a nice final addition, with many fresh options. There was a big supply of coffee as well.

There was animal droppings in the lawn.

It was close to where we had to be and the property was clean and nice

For the money we paid for the room I would have expected to have the room made up daily, not every 3 days - it kind of sucked. For the money charged, yoiu folks can send the cleaning crew daily. I will make another choice in the future.

In 20 years of traveling with our dogs, only one other hotel (at Wallowa Lake) provided doggy supplies to help keep the room clean and the dogs happy. Loved the shower, breakfast area, outdoor courtyard and staff!

The room was a little small, but really we had room for all our needs. The mattress seemed like a smaller size king, not regular size.

Very comfortable, loved the toiletries because i wasn't allergic to the perfume of soap. Shampoo and body wash, it was spacious

Didn't have enough packets to go with coffee; Dried water spots on shower door looked as if it wasn't properly cleaned

food was good but starting later on the weekends makes it to late for some people. Perhaps start at a consistent time through out all 7 days but maybe make weekend days start at the same time but end later.

The cleanliness of our room was exceptional. The smallest details, like the blow dryer in a plastic bag with a sterilized label on the bag, reassured me that the room was safe. The furniture was well designed. Part of the hard furniture, the table could be pulled out for games, work space friendly, etc. The beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough good as bout our accommodations!

The staff was great and the room was spotless.

The breakfast was a little gross. There was an egg fritata that was pretty in-edible. The waffle too. I understand that things need to be sanitary... but compared to other hotels, the quality of breakfast was terrible.

Very clean and quiet. Nice staff. Comfortable beds.

Breakfast was not very good, especially for the price range. Embassy Suites and Hampton Inns have much better breakfast.

. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was a great design. Everything was clean. There were places to sit outside.

The room was small. There was only one chair for sitting. There was a constant humming sound on the other side of the room (412).
