City Centre Motel by OYO

Seaside was full of tourists, so I was steeling myself for disappointment at the hotel, but it turned out to be very clean, quiet, and in a great location for accessing the beach and beachfront shops and eateries. The room was tastefully appointed and had all expected facilities. As we were leaving, the cleaner came out with my wife's headphones (she had left them in the room), for which we were incredibly grateful. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

The office at the hotel was closed, with a notice on the door redirecting us to another hotel a few blocks away. It would have been helpful if this had been noted in some of the email correspondence sent by the hotel before our stay. The redirection notice was also too low on the door to see easily so we sat around until 4pm, thinking the office was going to open up then. Doh!

Great location close to downtown and the beach. Clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Microwave and fridge worked. Appreciated the coffee maker.

No chairs in the room, so nowhere to sit except on the bed. Which is problematic because we are covered in sand after visiting the beach, so our bed is full of sand now. No table. Microwave but no place to sit and eat or drink coffee. Lots of room for chairs and a table, so why are they missing? We had to bring in a chair from outside. No ventilation in bathroom except window.

We are a family of 4 and stayed here 1 night as we drove down the coast. This is great value for money and the room has just what you need for a night or weekend! Checkin was smooth and staff was friendly. The location was awesome - easy to walk to restaurants and other points of interest. It was clean and had all the basic amenities in the room.

There were stains on the sheets in one of the beds. Although they were laundered, there were old stains on the sheets.

walked to all our activities and to the beach just up the block, nephew had a bench and smoking area right outside his door and we were able to have dinner in our room in full kitchen which was pretty convenient.

Pictures on the website showed a small pool, and it even came up when I punched in the "POOL" filter on available hotels with pools, was a bit disappointing but we made up for it with arcade time. Just would have liked the pool!

I like things simple. I got what I wanted. I liked the location. I would stay there again.

It would have been nice if the weather was better. It would have been better to have a chair for the desk instead of what was in there. Another thing I disliked is having to go to another motel to check in instead of the motel where I stayed at.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was nice to be so close to the ocean without it costing a fortune.

Had to go to a completely different property for the check in-it was frustrating after a long day of driving to get to our destination only to find out we had to get back on our bike and travel to get this completed. A heads up before we got there would have been nice.

Loved the walking location to beach. Area was really nice. Rooms were upkept. Large bathrooms was nice.

Price could be lower. Need to upgrade on technologies in room, larger TV, usb and lights. Also when checking in no Manger on site was not informed that when checking in. Had to drive out of our way to another property to check in. Need better ability to get refresher towels also.

it was really close to the strip of seaside. right in the middle of everything. nice sized room for two people.

I didn’t like that the office connected was closed and we had to check in way down the street. it was convenient at all to get new towels and stuff. the shower was way too small.

Great location. Everywhere we wanted to go was easy walking distance. This is important because of the lack of parking around Seaside. The staff at the office and at the site are really nice.

The room was small, but we weren't there to hang out in the room. Checking in at a different location was unusual.

It was very clean, And the beds were SO cozy! Rooms were a little out dated but VERY clean and cozy and the location was perfect. 2 blocks from the ocean and 2 blocks from the main road! Would recommend 10/10 to stay here for the price. Parking lot is a tight squeeze for a bigger rig.
