Quiet and safe. Very easy access on and off the freeway. Great husband and wife team are managers/owners. They have owned this property for one year and are doing a great job in upgrading. No room noises, like the neighbor’s TV, because each bungalow, A-frame, is separate from the other, no adjoining walls. Rustic and comfortable. The rooms are compact and well outfitted, everything I expect from a hotel room was there. This includes microwave, small refrigerator, and good TV. The sink and shower water was hot very quickly and the water pressure was great. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable.

We were very pleased with the quaintness of the room, a throwback to the 50s/60s road motel feeling. The fact that the lounge was open was a bonus, had a great time there swapping tour of duty stories with 3 other vets. Bed was VERY good, and the " rag bucket " & note was funny, did make use of it. Had a problem with the TV, but staff fixed it immediately when we called the front desk. Good refrigerator.

Microwave needs to be replaced, rusty a bit, no glass plate in it. Stairs to upper bed area need to be expanded out about 8-10 inches, a bit risky, so we stayed on the bottom floor & bed area. As a retired professional plumber I would recommend a new caulking job in the bathroom. Add a TV / remote manual or instructions in the room ....be better that way.

It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The motel is right off the freeway so easy access. Rooms are contained individually so there is not a problem hearing noise from thin walls. Bath products supplied in the room were eco-friendly which was a nice touch.

The motel is right off the freeway so somewhat noisy. There was no mention of a breakfast but this is not unusual considering current environment. Limited places to eat in the area. I believe there is only a Denny’s. So good idea to eat somewhere before you arrive if you want something other than Denny’s.

The air was fresh. The convertible sofa was nice and practical. Good water pressure. All of the products were plant based and eco friendly. The view out the back window was nice. We could see the horses in the field. The entire atmosphere was nice and relaxing. In the early evening, many guests sat outside and chatted with each other. There were many stores, cafes, and gas stations nearby. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was only $100 for the four of us to stay the night.

The stairs leading to the loft were a little narrow.

It was easy to get to from the freeway and the owner was great. We had a good dinner down the road a bit and the stay was very affordable. We loved the retro vibe!

There is a bit of noise from the freeway but the beds were quite comfortable and we didn’t have any trouble falling asleep.

This motel has so much character with the A frames separate there isn't any noise from other guests. The staff are all helpful & friendly everything was clean & comfortable we will definitely recommend and come back again. They accept late arrivals checkout is 11 am the toiletries are awesome coffee & great teas are in the rooms, we just had so much fun here there is even a small bucket with a cute note that says the towels are for cleanups or spills which we were happy we had when our 6 yr old spilled his milkshake

No complaints other than the bathroom heater did not work

The manager was very welcoming and brought additional towels to our room knowing that we stayed there as a family. We liked the fact that there are a few restaurants around the motel, which was very convenient for us as we were driving through Oregon to go home. Countryside is very nice when looking through the back windows.

I had hoped that the futon was an extra bed for our family of 5 but it proved to be a couch only. We still had enough space for us all to sleep there one night so everything was fine all in all. Heater and aeration in the bathroom were very loud.

You know if there were more motel owners like Tim, you wouldn't need someone to review. Here is an older property that he is doing up so that weary travelers have a safe & clean place to stay. Value for money & I'm told ts halfway between San Fan & Seattle. I was here to be close to riding the the Cottage Grove to Lake Dorena bike trail. I ate at nearby Oakland, I call this area Rice Hill. I'm a local Oregon resident living in Hillsboro

Oakland address is misleading to regular I-5 travelers

Quick check in, lobby had lots of small free treats and snacks. Staff energy was positive.

Cleaning staff member was absent, so check in wasn't ready at the normal time. Staff that were there were very open and apologetic, and worked hard to remedy it. Solid value, but with that comes a lack of a pool, gym.
