Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bend, OR

The location was great. The room was clean and fairly well set up. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were both outstanding. The breakfast area and lobby were immaculate, clean and cheerful.

The hotel looks tired badly and in need of some upgrades. In particular, the carpet in the hallways is much in need of replacement with many places where the threads are showing and badly wrinkled constituting a potential trip hazard. The room carpet was also worn and gave what was otherwise a pleasant space a worn-out look and smell.

Following booking online, I shot a note to the front desk asking for a ground floor room due to a recent hip replacement. What I received was the furthest from my request, a second floor room accessible by a two flights of stairs...a bit disappointed, that said, the room was immaculate, modern, clean..

The clerk at the front desk was non-engaged throughout check-in. When I asked whether she received my email request for a ground floor, she checked and said sorry..can't do it at this time..

The staff was very friendly and accomadating. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and overall cleanliness was good. Breakfast was basic but good.

The facilities are aging and match the 2 star rating. The doors close with a loud bang. The internet service was inadequate.... challenging to just send emails. Might have been happier with the place if we didn't have to pay $300 /night. Seems like it should have been less that $200/night.

The electric range was the major reason for selecting this hotel brand along with the other kitchen amenities.

The lack of a fitness center is a major disadvantage. The fact that the pool and hot tub were closed for undeclared reasons during our stay was a disappointment. The inclusive breakfast was acceptable but short of being a plus.

Breakfast selection and bed were awesome. Quiet location. Convenient to stores and restaurants.

Bathroom fan did not function. After a shower it made the room hot and steamy in the summer. A/C rattled frequently which disturbed our sleep. Bathroom fixtures are heavily scratched. Plug-ins were hard to get to. Over $600 for 2 nights.

The breakfast was totally awesome! So many great choices and it was available until 9:30, which made it even more valuable to me. The suite we had was huge... It made it comfortable and easy for us to spread out. I interacted with the front desk several times and everyone was super nice, polite and helpful.

The wifi was very poor in our room. I selected this hotel because of the price and the size of the room; however, the location wasn't very convenient if you wanted to explore the more hip parts of town.

The staff is always kind here, the rooms are always clean and my kids love the complimentary cookie in the lobby. :) We drive between WA and CA often and Bend is our overnight. We try to stay here when we can. It’s convenient, cheerful and economical. Sometimes we have our pup and sometimes not, but she is welcome when we do, but it’s still clean, which I really appreciate.

Spacious suite, comfortable bed, very clean. Staff was very friendly and willing to please. Breakfast was included and offered a lot of choices. Decent sized, sunny and clean outdoor pool.

Location is close to major roads, has no view and no green space. Very limited pool deck furniture. Kitchenette was completely empty of utensils or dishes so was useless for preparing any food. Interior hallway carpets and walls were pretty dark and worn.

Desk staff were friendly but our room was not ready at check in time. I had booked a king suite but none were available at 3pm. We took a regular king because our visit was time sensitive and we needed to change and leave right away. The 3 pm check in was one of the reasons we chose this property. Check in took a really long time due to the lack of room.

The room was dusty. I could draw in the dust on the base of the bedside lamp.

Good size room, the staff are excellent friendly and helpful. Especially Rachel thank you for all your help The location is a few miles from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. Very good breakfast with a great range of items to choose from.
